I purchased two of these. They snapped right in and worked perfectly. One of them was to replace a 360 degree motor that I never could get to work reliably with my system. I couldn't be happier that Amazon had the best replacement unlike the first time when I replaced one with a mismatched swivel from an online HVAC company.

I bought this as a replacement for a very old Durozone damper motor. The voltage and pinouts are compatible as is the metal tongue that engages with the damper shaft. My system requires 90 degrees rotation which I was able to achieve by shifting the plastic cams around. This unit is nice and fast and has the benefit of an LED showing open or closed. Photo is of the old part. It had circular contacts (under the plastic) which became dirty and tarnished. The replacement has sealed microswitches which should be more reliable. A much better design.

What an awesome little motor! I used it to replace a 26 year old DuroZone motor. I wondered if it would use the same mounting holes as the original and it did not. I just drilled new holes in the damper housing and used some sheet metal screws to mount it centered on the damper shaft. (Screws did not come with it). It comes set for 180 degree rotation, but there is a wide range of adjustment. My damper type requires 90 degrees and it can be changed with 1 set screw. I wired with full time 24v across terminals 1 and 2, from there jumping terminal 4 and 2 will move the motor to "open", removing the jumper will automatically move the motor back to "closed". The motor goes back and forth. How your furnace accomplishes this closing and opening of the circuit across terminals 4 and 2 will depend on your zone controller. Mine is a Honeywell TrolAtemp that sends a 24v signal to open and close, but I used a 24v relay in between to do the job of opening and closing the circuit. The Red and Green LED's for open and closed are an added bonus and worked great. Whenever my Honeywell MSTN motor goes out ($300 - $400), I will replace it with one of these! I know this review may be a bit technical for some, but it sure would have helped me, so here it is for someone else! Have fun.

Direct replacement for older DuroZone multiblade damper. It was just a matter of unsnapping the old actuator, ensure the damper is in its fully closed position, then snapping the new one into place and connecting the 3 wires. The actual work took about 15 minutes.

These are not as stated they are not even close to being able to replace original as stated in description. I need to return these items and order the correct model.
