Yes, this material works really well with CNC machining. That is actually what the different layers are designed for, so you can mill a layer off and expose a different color.

I am looking at a 24 x 36 piece. Can you cut that piece to 22 x 36 so it will fit inside a rack?

Can i use a v bit on a cnc with this product ?

Yes, works well with V Bit, but I would recommend a roughing/clearing pass with a flat end mill to clear out bigger sections of material otherwise the V-bit will leave plastic hairs behind if you use it to do the clearing as well. The hairs will have both colors and are hard to get rid of

Is the actual thickness of 1/2” when measured with a caliper .5?

My piece is 0.488". I have only bought one piece so I do not know how consistent it is.
