I went for the absurdly-long 25-foot cord, and it was exactly right. It's a braided cord and lays out nicely. If you want to mount it semi-permanently, it has four small screws included in the package (don't lose those). Highly worthwhile for a very specific need.

An interesting design on the business end of this power strip makes it more versatile than most. Instead of the typical six outlets in a row on the top, this strip has three rows of four outlets on the top and the same on each of two sides, for a total of twelve. This makes the spacing between outlets wider than typical, so that plugging in a "wall-wart" doesn't block part of the outlet next door. Plenty of space, and plenty of outlets -- big plus.The 15-foot cord is also a boon, after years of working with strips with 6-foot or shorter cords. There is enough cord here to allow for convenient location of the unit: it doesn't have to be right in front of an outlet.The materials leave a bit to be desired. I had thought that the box was metal, but it is, in fact, plastic. I am mounting this on a multi-printer stand, where it's not going to see a lot of active plugging and unplugging -- once set-up, it's pretty much just going to sit there. This being the case, the plastic is acceptable. Were I using it in, for example, a shop, I would worry that frequent stressing might eventually break off the plastic mounting ears.The other odd material is the cord. While it feels reasonably heavy duty, the cable is actually covered with braided-cloth outer insulation. This was the fashion a century ago, but its odd to find it used on a device of 21st century manufacture. But again, once this is set up, I don't intend moving it around a lot, so it will likely be OK. Would not use it in a damp environment, though.Overall: useful item, functionally well-designed, reasonably well-constructed, and for a fair price.

These seem like a latter-day technology unit.. It can handle multiple electric plugs and has powered USB ports x 2 and USB-C x 1. It's the perfect upgrade for your old surge protector... recommended. I have three of these now, and I think they are all working cleanly and smoothly. There is no damage when power goes off or back on, and no surges have harmed any of my gear.

I love this thing!Another reviewer showed how they attached magnets to it to attach to metal surfaces. This also worked for me: I attached it to my standing desk legs, out of sight, and it is perfect. Appreciate that it has outlets on multiple sides of it, a flat plug, and a pretty braided cord vs a cheap plasticky one.
