Dewalt 61147S 3300 PSI 2.4 GPM Gas Cold Water Pressure Washer

I've tried various pressure washers, but none like this one with automatic shut-off when you stop spraying. While it may require a restart for adjustments or nozzle changes, this unique feature sets it apart...

I have used many pressure washers, both electric and gas power. However, I have never used a pressure washer that shuts off automatically when you stop spraying. The model does. If this is common for this model, I would stay away from this pressure washer since it needs to be restarted each time you stop spraying to make and adjustment or switch spray nozzeles. Which bring me to the next issue. This model is hard to start cold, turned on the choke and after 6-12 pulls I had to turn off the choke and pull start a few more times and then turn the choke back on and hope that it would start. Now, since it shuts down when I release the handle, I have to do the same to restart. Activate the choke and make one pull and then turn the choke off and hope it will start. On the plus site easy to assemble. The instruction manual is very good (small print so you may need readers). Follow-up 11/29/2023. Reported issue with Amazon and was sent a replacement pressure washer at no charge. The replacement works perfect. The actual problem was the plastic tube that came out of the gas tank was broken not allowing the pressure washer to get the fuel. I want to thank the amazon support folks for an excellent response to the issue and even a greater response to the solution. Thank you Amazon. I have changed the rating from one star to 5 stars.

Really good pressure washer for the price. Compact enough to store away and super powerful. I recommend using tru-fuel or ethanol free gas. No need to spend the money on a honda or simpson.

I set up and used my new pressure washer for a test run and it worked fine for a couple of hours. I shut down, with the intention of finishing the task the following day. After checking all fluids, I started the unit this morning and it worked fine for a couple of minutes and then shut down. I went to restart the washer, and it not only would not start, but the pull cord to start the engine would not retract. I called Amazon to get service and was passed around between their customer service and DeWalt's, retelling my story multiple times, and being passed along to another representative, who would be THE ONE, who would help me resolve my issue. The line somehow disconnected twice, so I got to call back and retell my story yet again. The last customer rep (Amazon this time) told me that I needed to write an email to DeWalt and explain the situation (I had be assured that he was the one Amazon rep who would definitely be able to solve my problem, but he just passed me off to DeWalt, after waiting on hold for another 15 minutes). I guess I'll write a letter to DeWalt just to cover all bases. I bought this unit based on the DeWalt name. It was a replacement for a cheap no-name Chinese unit, but at least that lasted for a couple of years - not dying on its second use. I don't know if I'm more disappointed with this horrible pressure washer. or the awful customer service I received trying to resolve this problem.

Love it. One of its kind. It will be awesome if this came with a 50 feet hose to get a 6 out of 5 stars.

If you were to look in my shop you would see that I have been a long-time DeWalt user. Too many tools to mention here, but they have all served me well. But today is different. I have just received my DeWalt 61110S and I am TERRIBLY dissatisfied. I finished putting it together, added the oil that was sent in the box, added non-ethanol gas that I purchased only an hour before, connected my water hose and the spray hose, anticipating a good experience. This model has an electric start (2 bad rotator cuffs prevent pulling on a rotary cord). I then insured the gas was in the on position, moved the choke to crank, and hit the button. It fired up immediately to a low idle. I pulled the pressure wand trigger and started to wash the back of my truck and when I released the trigger, the unit cut off. So, I cranked it back up, and started again to wash my truck. The engine idles the same, under pressure or not. There is no increase in engine rpm. Once again, when I released the trigger, the unit cut off. It is sitting level all connections seem to be as they should bel. A sad note is that this model cost me twice as much as the Craftsman unit I still have. Brand new, and it is not, as Grandaddy used to say, 'Not worth kicking a hog in the butt for!' If there is a solution for this, and I find it, I will update this review. Until then, don't waste your money. UPDATE!!!!!!! At the risk of sounding like a complete imbecile, I am updating my review. The problem I had was that the engine would not rev. This was due to the fact that I assumed (We all know how dangerous that can be.) this engine was like my 4 previous washers, which had governors, rather than an adjustable throttle. And although I at first noticed the throttle, I did not exert much pressure to turn it. It is not too difficult to turn, but it is firm. So, in the long run, I give the unit 4 stars. The worst complaint I have with it now is that it is too low. I will be putting extensions on the handle.

I'm not used to write a review. But this machine deserves. I believe is a honda engine. Delivery so much pressure. Was impressed. The engine started right on the first inten. Quite and smooth. Design very comfortable to access. Worth it for the price.

Great power washer. Easy to move around. Heavy duty wheels. Features are good. Power washed our fence. Worked great
