I bought this to use on a long plane trip. It made the hard airplane seats tolerable and served its purpose well. The most comfortable thing (in fact, the ONLY comfortable thing) on my commercial flight was this cushion.It doesn't take much to blow it up! Really only one breath -- two tops. The one-way valve design definitely helps! One needs to roll it up to get all the air out after use.TIP: If you're planning to use this on an airplane, don't inflate it fully. Leave it a little "underinflated" to allow for expansion.EXPLANATION (If Needed): At higher altitudes the inflatable seat will expand (meaning the cushion will get harder). I ended up letting a little bit of air out of the seat when we were at cruising height to make it comfortable. It was a little humorous -- the cushion was WAY more inflated at higher altitudes than it was when we were on the tarmac.I hadn't thought about it until I saw that balloon-like cushion, but... The airplane cabins are pressurized, but don't seem to reach the same pressure as we have on the ground. Therefore, there is less atmospheric pressure pushing back on the seat cushion, so it naturally expands a bit more. It was FULLY inflated at high altitude! LOL!

I needed to replace an air cushion I used in the car to reduce pain in the low back and hips from bumpy roads that finally broke. This is perfect. The condensed carry feature is nice too. Thank you!

Great travel item, i wanted something that would make a 2-hour commute bearable and this does it!Self-inflation works great if you follow the instructions and it only takes a couple of minutes for maximum inflation, saving the risk of COVID infection for inflating by mouth.With enough practice it can be rolled back quickly, or even can be folded in half and then rolled for an extra compact form factor.As some other users have pointed out, the valve is nothing like the photos depicts it; it is a regular valve just like many inflatable toys out there. The 90° angle in which it has been placed makes me think that will be the point the cushion will fail eventually, but after a couple months of almost-daily use it is yet to be seen.

Love how lightweight this pillow is. I used it on a recent trip in the car to the airport, on the plane, in the rental car I had and at a restaurant. Great. Only thing is it made a hissing noise and lost air in a corner whilst I was sitting on it on the airplane. Blew it up quickly and that never happened again. However, haven't deflated it and rolled it up again...too difficult. I just leave it the way it is. Very happy with it overall.

This is great back support when I'm in the car for long periods of time. I just blow the cushion up and it's ready. You can push in the valve after you inflate it. Some others you have to figure out where to put it so it doesn't dig into your back.I love that this deflates easily and it rolls up to fit in a small case. There are 3 elastics holding it together. Unfortunately you have to keep them safe somewhere because they're not attached. It would have been nice to have them attached so you wouldn't have to keep track of them.The one wish I have for this cushion is I'd like it to be just a bit bigger. It's big enough to cover my back but sometimes you just want a bit more support.This is a great compact cushion to buy if you have back problems.

For a 7 hour flight I needed a little extra cushioning. Bought a couple of cushions before the flight and tried them at home for a couple of weeks. This won. It packed easily into my carry on - just enough cushioning to make the seat comfortable - but not get too hot.I still have it on desk chair. Hasn't let me down.

I used this for coccyx pain. It worked. My cat clawed it. It doesn't work any more.
