SightPro Magnetic Privacy Screen for MacBook Pro 14 Inch (2021-2026, M1-M5, Pro, Max) Patented Removable Laptop Privacy Filter Shield and Protector

I was honestly just looking for an anti-glare/blue light reducing screen protector and came across this. Honestly I was like ehh $30 is a bit more than I care to spend but it also being a privacy screen & magnetic peeked my interest. I have a lot of nosey ass people at my job so I figured the privacy part of it was more enticing and justified the $30 so I said screw it and bought it. I just unpackaged it at work and it popped right on easy peasy with the magnet up top. I have an M3 MacBook Air with the 15 inch screen and it fits perfect. I have a window directly behind me and the sunlight always reflects off my screen so this blurs that out in addition to providing fabulous privacy protection as well! No bubbles, I actually have a clear screen protector underneath this and this one came with little double sided stickies for the bottom of the screen protector to hold it in place but I didn't need it honestly. It snapped on perfect with the magnet and isn't moving unless I move it myself which there's no need to. I wanted it to be removable as well for when I use my laptop at home, I have no need for the privacy. But this was a great find and great quality, definitely with the $30.

Great product. Fits nicely. Makes it so people beside you can't see your screen. The magnetic strips hold it in place nicely. Easy to remove and replace as needed. Great customer support team. I accidentally ordered the wrong size at first. Kate E. from the support team was fantastic to work with. Timely responses, and she double-checked device details with me before sending a replacement to make sure we got the right size.

I ordered this for someone who needed a privacy screen for their laptop, and it worked out great for what they needed. The magnetic design makes it convenient to put on and remove, and it fit the laptop well. They were happy with it, so I’m happy with the purchase!

Very... OK. Fits well and appears to be high quality material. Liked that it has the option of the magnet on the top to make it easy to take on and off and double sided tape if you want to attach it more permanently (handy so it doesn't flop back and forth when you open and close your laptop). There is supposed to be a high gloss side that provides better privacy and lower gloss side that is better for eye strain, but I couldn't tell the difference in glossiness or privacy. The privacy feature is fair, substantially darkening the screen when viewed from the side, but it it no where near completely shielding the screen from side view, as do many similar products. Good enough, but don't expect excellent privacy compared to similar products.

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: Ok, I'm seriously impressed with the seller, SightPro, so this warrants a new review. I have a Lenovo Slim 7i laptop, and I had to return this product because whenever the magnets got close to the screen, it caused the entire OS to boot me out and go to the lock screen, so the product was unusable. I left a 2-star review, explained why, and returned it for a refund. (Yes, it may have been user-error on my part. I got the correct size and ratio, and the listing description said it was compatible with Lenovo. I poured over the listing several times before buying it and also afterwards when I was having the magnetic issue, and I swear that I didn't see any disclaimer that it wasn't compatible for touchscreens. As of June 2026, I see a note about it now at the end of the second paragraph, so maybe it was recently added to prevent further confusion, or maybe it was always there and I was just a blind dummy. So yeah...don't get the magnetic one if you have a touchscreen version.) Anyway, blind dummy or not, after my refund had already been processed and I thought that was that, SightPro unexpectedly reached out and mailed me the correct product that's compatible. It was a big surprise, and yes, this one works perfectly. (If anyone's wondering, the Removable privacy screen is the one you want if you have a touchscreen. No magnets, no sticky residue, and the touchscreen function still works with it on too.) The service alone was worth 5 stars because they made sure I wound up with the right product in the end. DEFINITELY buy from SightPro, especially if there's any doubt or concern about what specs you'll need. The quality of the product and quality of their customer service is exceptional. 10/10.

Great attachment, poor fit at the bottom edge. The magnetic mount works as advertised - on and off in a second, no adhesive, no tabs. Privacy effect is fine from the sides. Where it falls down is flatness. The lower portion drapes away from the display instead of lying against it, with a gap somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 inch. That bottom section of the screen is degraded unless I press the panel against the screen with my fingers. As it is, I doubt I'll keep using it.

Purchase this for 14" Lenovo X1 Carbon. However, the magnetic version of this does not work due to the built in magnets on the palm-rest of the machine. Whenever you close the lid, the privacy screen gets pulled off the stronger magnets. Reached out to the seller and was immediately offered a alternative version with adhesive strip. Once received, the new version worked perfectly for the machine. The adhesive strip in visible, but is very slim and after a while, you don't really notice that is there.

I've been very impressed with this privacy screen. It does exactly what it's supposed to do by keeping people beside you from seeing your screen while still providing a clear view straight on. The magnetic attachment makes it easy to install and remove whenever needed. What has impressed me most is how durable it is. Mine has taken a surprising amount of everyday abuse, including frequent removal, being tossed into a laptop bag, and regular handling, yet it hasn't ripped, cracked, or bent. I expected it to wear out much sooner, but it's held up extremely well. If you travel, work in coffee shops, airports, classrooms, or any shared workspace where you want a little extra privacy, this is a worthwhile investment. It's easy to use, holds securely, and has proven to be much more durable than I expected.

I've wasted twice my money for some other types of screen protector. This one turns out to be the perfect buy and attaches the magnet fine. Although the bottom part doesn't lies flat to the screen at times, there's a small double sided tape included to stick it. Great product! Recommended!

So the screen protector itself it's definitely worth it. High quality, works as per described but vendor is reshipping returned items! The product box was OPEN, the screen protector came with BAD scratches and it was placed in a transparent folder (which isn't part of the original packaging!!!). 5* for the product! 1* for the vendor, specially at this price range! Pathetic behaviour!
