I ordered this charger for a hoverboard I had received from a friend. It works and turns off once the device is fully charged. I'd recommend to anyone looking to replace a dead hoverboard power supply.

This hoverboard charger came quickly and as expected. It charges grandsons hoverboard. Works great! It's a universal charger for so many brands so it wasn't hard to find another chger when his other was lost.

I purchased this to replace the OEM Swagway charger because the 3 female socket end plug (the end that connects to the hoover board) broke. The orginal charger was 42V at 2 AMPS. This one was advertised as the same specifications which is what is printed on the charger body. There is no UL certification. The unit gets very hot while charging. I checked the amp draw while charging with my Fluke clamp meter and it was pulling 1.8 amps. I'm not too sure about this unit. It gets way too hot. It is nowhere as robust as the OEM charger from Swagway I think I will just have to pony up for a replacement OEM charger from Swagway for $29.

If you got a hoverboard and missing its charger, this is definately the one to get because I tried 2 other ones before this and none worked but this one. Thank You! A+++ Highly Recommended!

Purchased this for my granddaughter's hoverboard at the house she had left the original charger somewhere and couldn't remember. But that's kids, all they think about is money toys and eating. LOL. Anyhow the charger is well worth the money and has work great since we purchased it between 2 and 3 months ago
