J.A. Henckels International Forged Synergy 5-1/2-Inch Boning Knife

Although a bit weighted this knife feels well balanced. Fairly priced and a good value.

Thought it was genuine...not so much.

Had been trying to use a different brand and it just didn't do the job. I love haddock but don't love the skin. Now I can remove the skin, or use the knife on chicken, pork chops, etc. Henckels is fantastic, and there's a reason why they're well known for quality. You supposedly can tell the quality of Henckels by how many little "man" symbols on the item. This knife only has 1 little man....can't even imagine how great an item with 2 or 3 could be. Happy with my 1 little man!!

My wife wanted a boning knife and after reading some reviews I choose this one for her. She wasn't disappointed, it is very sharp and trims up meat easily. Her first try using it was to de-bone chicken thighs and it made it so easy. You get what you pay for and in this case you get an excellent boning knife.

Now my knife set is complete. THe 5.5 Henchels "Synergy Forged" perfectly compliments my other knives. The feel is great, a good look, and super sharp. SO glad I bought it.
