Modern Euro Style and Highly Functional - Much Better than Wooden Knife Block
I discovered one of these incredible knife blocks in the kitchen of a friend, and I immediately ordered two, one in tangerine and one in red. I have just acquired a couple of very expensive knives, and knew I shouldn't be storing them in the drawer with all of the other knives, so the discovery in my friend's kitchen was perfectly timed! These knife blocks are amazing. They are filled with plastic rods of small circumference, which cushion your knives and keep them from touching one another. The plastic rods (as opposed to the individual knife slots found in a typical wooden knife block) allow you to choose where to put the knife in the block, and allow the block to hold a lot more knives than the standard wooden version, while at the same time keeping each knife separate and apart from the others. The sleek modern euro design of this item is fabulous too. I can't say enough about how great this product is.

Functional and Fun
I despise wood block knife holders and got tired of nearly cutting myself every time I tried to take a knife out of the drawer. This knife block gives my kitchen a little pop of color while providing safe, organized storage for my knives. I liked mine so much that I bought another one as a gift.The only drawback is that the holder isn't functional if you put it under a cabinet with knives in it. I was able to find a home for it, though it wasn't my first choice.

Stylish knife block that does the job well
This block can accommodate a large number of knives (8 in my case) but they can shift around a bit once inserted so feel a little "loose". Feels very stable overall, however.

super sleek knife block
looks great on my counter. It holds multiple knives tucked in safely and very sturdy. It takes minimal space.

Orange plastic cover eventually turns sticky
I really like the concept of plastic rods holding knives. I am sorry to report that the orange cover eventually turns sticky. the sticky substance comes off on your fingers, and while it can be washed off of your hands with soap and water, it can't be washed off of the orange cover with anything I've tried (soap, isopropyl alcohol). This is disgusting, and I won't have it in my kitchen.

Add a pop of color to your countertop
Love the way this tangerine color looks on my countertop. Great product. The kitchen scissors and my favorite Rada knives fit perfectly.

Looks great but top heavy
Really like the pop of color on the counter but it’s top heavy.....

Definitely Recommend
This is a perfect fit for my kitchen, which has limited counter space. Sturdy and stable and doesn't dull the blades of my knives. I'd recommend this product to anyone. Only downside, if placed under the upper cabinets, there isn't enough clearance to remove large knives by pulling straight up. I placed mine in a spot where there isn't any interference from upper cabinets. I appreciate the choice of colors, as well.
