Like other people here, I ran into issues with moving the metal calendar frame to a different month. When I first received the product, it moved effortlessly. After a few days, it wouldn't budge no matter how much strength I put in. One day, I got frustrated and decided I would rip out the metal frame and force it onto the correct month - it wasn't easy taking it out, but I managed to get creative with a post-it note. Once I got the frame out, I realized it was magnetic and could cling onto the organizer even when overlapping some of the wood above the calendar. Now, it's set correctly on the bottom, and overlaps a bit on the top, but can be moved effortlessly. My guess is that the nearby heater warped the wood, removing any wiggle room that previously existed around the metal frame. But then again, I don't do science *shrugs*

I loved the idea of this and was hoping it was as great as it seemed. It is. The month dial is hard to turn, but how often am I turning it? 12 times a year. This is super handy for me to make a quick glance at for a date and the 2 cups are great for organizing at my office desk. I’d definitely buy it again and consider it as a gift.

It's quite a bit smaller than I anticipated but admit to not really looking at the measurements before ordering. I found it well made but just large enough o hold pens and pencils on my desk so I don't have to hunt for them. The unique calendar feature works well but the "day" indicator on the slider does not contrast with the silver metal making them difficult to see.

I need a quick monthly calendar reference for work, but I don’t want a big calendar taking up space. This is perfect. It holds my highlighters and dry erase markers and provides my calendar, all in one space.

It's sturdily built, doesn't slide around, and is cute to boot. It comes with little stick-on feet in case you have problems with it sliding around, but it hasn't been an issue for me. It holds a lot of pens comfortably, and isn't too deep or too shallow.The knob seems a bit flimsy, but it's not going to be toyed with too much so it should be fine.

The pencil holder looks nice, but after a few weeks the metal slider won't move. It worked when I first received it, but for some reason it gets stuck in less than a month. My guess is it has something to do with the temperature/moisture change which is causing the "wood" material to expand.Like another reviewer, I solved this myself by forcing the metal frame off the magnet and placing it a slight incline. Now I can move it freely.

Wooden desk organizer is a great addition to a small desk area. It fits some pens and notepads, along with other small desk accessories. We have not had any trouble with the magnetic calendar or knob over the past couple months. It also comes with small pads to put on the bottom so that you don't scratch the desk surface.

Loved calendar and cubbys but would have liked a small clock and maybe a chalkboard back😊 There is no stationary storage space.
