So Useful for personal, corporate and general interactions with people -
This is such a great book that it supplements their podcast so well and since I have issues with people, and interactions in general, this has made things clear in my personal and work life. Now I am using it all the time, and I've bought 6 books in total and gifted them to friends and family.Give it a try, what do you have to lose?

Extremely thick book, worth twice the cover price.
I actually was surprised to see how thick this book was when it arrived. I dove into it, and was pleasantly surprised how well the publisher laid out the book and edited everything. This was easy to read and understand. I appreciated all the work that went into this tome, and I could see that both Joel and Antonia are knowledgeable beyond their years. I've always enjoyed their podcasts and frequent discussions on their blog. Antonia is astute in responding to posts made as well are their staff. If one was to seek to understand themselves I wouldn't look any further than Personality Hacker! This INTJ enjoy's their delightful musings, good intel, vulnerability, and deeply human nature. I will continue to be a long term Personality Hacker customer, because most of all they make me feel welcome in their presence and have given me a deep understanding of myself, and others. As an INTJ I don't normally give comments as I find those things to be shallow and obvious (it's an Fe thing I wouldn't understand, but I am trying to work on it), yet these folks here have earned them all and I can't say enough good things about them. I look forward to them revamping their individual personality profiles later this year. The only criticism I offer of the book is found early on in regards to personal security and that is to not use either politics or religion for example to make a point, it's way too personal a subject for many people. I think if that statement about politics had to be written over I would write " Evidence suggests that modern day political campaigns are becoming more and more influenced by foreign governments and private research firms." If you remember even in the distant past, the French influenced militarily the outcome of the Revolutionary war against the British Empire, nothing new here. My point here is don't take it personal or make it personal when it comes to business, be heart centered, be compassionate, and be generous, however if you are not directly writing a book about politics or religion as it applies to personality then I am suggesting to leave those things out as they can negatively impact whether or not someone returns the book or does business with you. The same could be said of sports teams. There has been a lot of animosity over these subjects, which has resulted in bad things happening when it was taken personally and alienated people with opposing beliefs. Business is one area where when it comes to information, that using abstraction can be beneficial, because it lacks a certain personal flair and people can make up their own minds.Detail laden personal beliefs tend to be hard and inflexible, not leaving a customer with a sense of autonomy. I still love the book and as a published author myself, I think this was well done and hope you write more books in the future.

Great book on Personality Types and how to use this in your personal growth!
This book gave me a lot of information on personal growth and Personality types. There are a lot of books and information on personality types by Jung and Myers-Briggs, but most are there to give information on theory, where Personality Hacker not only gives this information, but most importantly gives information in how to use this information in your own personal growth.

A Life Changing Must-Read!
Every self-growth book seems to have the power to be life changing while in the midst of reading. But a lot of times, these books invoke a "church camp" phenomenon. They feel powerful in the moment and send the reader into a state of euphoria. However, soon after, the ideas become hazy, the epiphanies fade from memory, and old habis repeat. Personality Hacker is the difference between momentary inspiration and a truly life-altering reframing. PH gets right down to the core where change takes place, integrates itself as part of the fabric of the soul and becomes part of a new way of functioning in this world. As a long time fan of the podcast, I was thrilled to be able to get my hands on a book that neatly organizes all of these concepts into one composition. After coming to understand more about my personality through the theoretical ideas and tangible, actionable steps recommended by Antonia and Joel, I've realized I have spent far too many years trying to change aspects of myself that I should have not only embraced, but focused on sharpening, and trying to improve my skills in areas that were a waste of time. Since learning more, I've been able to reframe the way I view self-improvement efforts. I am still constantly realizing that certain non-helpful habits and ideas are deeply programmed within me and need more tweaking, but hey, Rome wasn't build in a day!As far as self-development books go, this is the very BEST to have on hand for anyone truly wanting to thrive. I can't wait to share this with my kids as they get older and continue to use this wisdom to help everyone I love develop their strengths and live the best life possible in alignment with their higher truth.I recommend doing all of the recommended exercises in this book. As easy as it may be to just breeze over these and simply take in the content, it's putting pen to paper that will allow you to pattern recognize and identify what truly gets your juices flowing in life. Activities that take mere minutes will catapult you down a path of permanant perceptual change. This book, along with the Personality Hacker podcast, which I also highly recommend, is helping me become the most authentic ENFP possible as a wife, mother, contributing member of society, and joyful human.Antonia and Joel, thank you for daring to push so far beyond the body of content that already exists on this subject. Don't ever compromise the authentic integrity of your ideas or let anyone tell you you're taking too many liberties. You have taken MBTI to new heights, and the community will be forever changed. You two are trail blazers who really land with your audience! With gratitude,Kendall - ENFP

Really useful!! My cat says you won’t regret it!
This is a great MBTI book. I find it easy to read, and appreciate the light slightly humorous tone. There are charming little tidbits, like the table that gives a very brief description of a healthy and unhealthy version of each of the cognitive functions. I’ve referred to it quite a few times. I love how many exercises there are (practically one on each page). It creates so much opportunity for growth. As a fan of the authors, I bought the book partially out of support for them. But I’m actually really glad I did because I found I got even more information about MBTI than I had from their other work. Double bonus! And there’s just something nice about having a physical copy of something in writing. These two do such a great job of breaking down and explaining the MBTI in a way that makes sense and is useful. (I ended up buying both the print and the ebook because I was always lending my hard copy out so didn’t have it to refer to as needed. The other resources out there just aren’t as good.)
