5 years & still a happy customer
I purchased this hairdryer in 2017 & have not written a review until now because hairdryers never last very long for me. Well it has been 5 years and I hope I don’t jinx myself, but I haven’t had a single problem with this one. As you can see in the pictures, I have very long, very thick hair & per my cosmetologist, “it takes a toll on hairdryers.” With that being said, I’m 100% happy with this one. The only downside I can say about it is that it is a little heavier than other dryers, but I will take that as being quality made due to it holding up this long. I love the fact that it has a removable lint filter on the back. It also dries my hair faster than any other dryer I have used. Of course I use a heat protectant. It has a hot, warm, and cool option, as well as a button that you can hold in to make it cooler. After drying my hair I always turn it on cool and hold in the cool button while going over my hair for a few minutes to cool it down and make it shiny. That also helps to keep the frizz down.

Button in the wrong place
The blow dryer does a really good job drying your hair, so it's not a matter of that. It is that the control buttons are on the side of the handle, and are placed horizontally, rather than being on the inside of the handle and vertically, like they would be for most blow dryers. That means while I'm holding the dryer to blow dry my hair, the buttons often get hit and turn off or turn colder/hotter, etc, depending on which my hand hits. You might not think it's a big deal, but it becomes really frustrating after a while. What I do like is the directional attachment. Because it is not super tight on the dryer, it is easy to swivel it into the correct position you need it in in the midst of drying your hair, and not have it burn your hand.I would probably recommend, though, that you find a blow dryer with the buttons in the correct place on the handle.

Good hairdryer
I’ve had this dryer for years. I’m nearly 70, with shoulder length THICK hair. I’ve been through my share of hairdryers. This is the best one I’ve ever used.

so I searched Amazon and found amazing reviews for this Wazor hair dryer
I have long, thick, wavy (and sometimes frizzy) hair and I used to get regular blow outs at the salon when I lived in NYC. Now I live in a new city, where "blow outs" are done with flat irons (which the stylists say isn't any different from a blow dryer, but I can tell the difference). I've stopped going to salons in my new area, unless I need a trim. I haven't been one to blow out my own hair either because it seemed time consuming (again, I have long thick hair). I went home to visit my mother who has a Chi Touch Blow Dryer (costs roughly $200-250), and I decided to try it out on the whim that I could get an at-home-salon-looking-blow-out, and sure enough, her Chi blow dryer was phenomenal. However, I couldn't get myself to justify spending ~$200 for a hair dryer, so I searched Amazon and found amazing reviews for this Wazor hair dryer. For the price, I figured it would be worth the chance to try it out based on the reviews. I am happy to report that not only did this $30 Wazor dryer work just as well as the $200 Chi hair dryer, but it is so much lighter and easier to use than the Chi brand. My hair comes out super soft, silky and with proper brush technique I can get lots of volume, just like a salon blow out. Best part is, for how thick and long my hair is, this dryer can blow out all of my hair in about 30 minutes which is phenomenal! I cant even straighten my hair with a flat iron in under 45 minutes so this has become my new go to after I wash my hair. I absolutely love this dryer and feel grateful that I can finally get my favorite salon hair at home for a fraction of the cost of what I would normally spend in a year going to a salon. Amazing!!

Love this hair dryer!
I bought this hair dryer after reading a lot of reviews on several dryers. I find this one to be exceptional in design and results. I was concerned about the buttons being on the handle because I've had hair appliances before that either turn off or change temperature with very little contact. However the controls on this dryer are firm enough so that incidental contact will not change them. I have very thick coarse hair and it dried quickly and was smoother than it was with my last dryer. I normally have to use a straightener quite a bit to smooth out my hair but I needed much less direct heat to get the results I wanted. My hair is smooth and shiny and I couldn't be happier!

Gets the job done fast!
Powerful and sturdy and I can blow out and straighten my waste length hair in 20 minutes instead of the 30 it took with my older pro dryer. Auto-Shuffles between the extreme heat and moderate heat as it should to prevent hair damage and overheating the unit. The only complaint I have is the location and nature of the temperature and high/low gauges. They are the "rocking" type of switch, meaning one end of the switch is depressed for selection which causes the other end to be elevated. That elevated component can sometimes get under the hand holding the dryer and get depressed, meaning selected, such that there is a change in temp or speed in the middle of drying...it happens at least 2x per drying activity for me...but maybe I'm just a bit too aggressive with my grip? :)I would buy it again.

Terrific Hair Dryer, Best We've Had
We've used this hair dryer for many months and can honestly give it a five star rating. True, it is a bit heavier than cheaper dryers we've had, but we have found that slightly extra weight translates to much better quality. We especially like the large volume of air the dryer moves. The two switches for heat settings and air volume take a while getting used to but grabbing the handle slightly to the lower part helps position the thumb for easy reach to the controls. The only fault might be that the dryer does not have a flexible stress reliever for the electric cord as it enters the handle, although there is one at the plug-in end. (We've found, in the past, that the weakest part of previous dryers was where the cord enters the unit. Constant flexing during use eventually wears through the electric cord with dramatic results.) There is a rigid accommodation where the cord enters the dryer and we'll see if that helps in the long run. Our unit was made in China but it is a quality product.
