This doesn't stop your pooch from barking totally. That's good. BUT our dog seems to have learned that if you bark once, it makes a noise but nothing worse. Bark 3 or 4 times, and it vibrates - so time to keep quiet. Wait a minute and then you can bark again. So it's much much better in that we don't get continuous barking that upsets the neighbours and wakes us up. (We have a dog flap - so he let's himself out including at 3.00am sometimes. Any noises or disturbances or even a bird will make him bark - not great at 3.00am).Now it's a couple of barks, and silence. A minute or two later, a couple more and silence. So he doesn't wake anybody up anymore with bark, bark, bark, bark, growl, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, growl, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark..... Now we just get bark, bark..... silence..... bark..... silence....bark, bark, bark, bark...... silence (and then he comes back inside).It's easy to use - but the strap was really long so we cut it and then used a lighter to melt the cut end. This means make sure you don't cut off too much and that it fastens up properly.

Firstly, it's a clever device and the set up is quite simple and straight forward. Although it does say in the instructions to press the power button to change the mode number, instead of the M button. Secondly, I can understand how complicated it is to function properly if you have two dogs. I would suggest using it on one dog only, and alternate between them, if you do have more than one, as the bark of one dog will likely affect the other dogs collar if they are close to each other. Thirdly, the device switched itself off quite alot if the dog hadn't barked for more than an hour, which was very frustrating! Lastly, and sadly, the device doesn't work if the dog barks only once. Even if your dog barks once, and then again 5-10 seconds later, it still won't register. The dog has to bark constantly for it to work. It also doesn't work if the dog whines or growls or if your dog is a puppy, as their barks have not fully matured, so the device does not register the "bark". Unless your dog barks really loudly, repeatedly, does it actually work. It beeps 3 times the first time, to warn the dog. If your dog continues to bark, then the second time, it beeps and vibrates once for a few seconds, which usually stops them barking. You can choose which setting to put it on. I would suggest starting at 0 to not frighten shyer dogs. The vibration can really freak out some dogs, even at 0. The higher the setting, the bigger the vibration. It does work on dogs that are quite shy/skittish, but not so great on dogs that are the destructive types for example, they will just get used to it. Value for money, good, if it works for your dog. But I still do think it is slightly overpriced considering the issues it has. It looks great, is easy to use, and dogs can sleep fine with it on etc. Overall, I would rate it a 6/10.

A bit cumbersome as I have a shitzu

An honest review.Does this stop my dog barking - well yes and no. When the postman is seen, instead of "bark, bark, bark..." we now get "bark, beep, pause, bark, beep, pause, bark, beep, pause ...". It helps when he is wearing it but he hasn't yet reducing barking when without it. We will persistFaults, or where they could improve.1. My dog has a good, deep bark but we found it still needed to be on maximum sensitivity to work reliably2. You have to use their collar as it will not attach to an existing collar due to the way it threads on. Their collar has no ring to attach a lead so you can't use it on a walk3. The lead had a very sharp end on the underside due to poor finishing of the collar. Looks like my dog has developed a red area under his neck as a result4. The charging port is underneath the strap so actually difficult and fiddly to get atThis could be an excellent product if better designed and made

Works well, but tricky to get the collar size correct as strap comes out of the buckle if you have an active dog. Ended up sewing the strap around the clasp to keep it on

No used as everytime look at it impossible to understand

I bought this to try and stop one of my dogs from barking whilst in his crate, but the vibration has little to no effect on him.My almost 6 month old Labrador still barks, cries and whines with the collar beeping and vibrating, so I've had to resort to old fashioned methods and will be looking for a proper device in an attempt to stop him from driving me and the neighbours mad.

It works as intended and expected but.....The rear of device which contacts the neck is flat, whereas other designs incorporate some small protrusions on the inside which aid in keeping the device in place and also helps the device detect barking etc.Because this particular device lacks these features, for me and my situation, I found I had to keep repositioning the device and when it would slide round to the side a bit, it would stop functioning.So iv had to resort to another brand and design.It may work for you, it may not, but that's my experience.
