I got this stuff to try and get my Govee light strip that goes around the back of my TV to stay in place. Its own adhesive isn't strong at all and it keeps falling. Kind of hard for the lights to be in sync with the screen image when they fall. I was able to pretty easily cut this tape to size using standard office/household scissors. It's extremely sticky, which is the point of buying it!! You can't just rip it and stick it. That's scotch tape, not this stuff. Take your time and you'll be just fine. This tape is holding my light strip well and I am very pleased with it.

The first time I bought it, the backing was very easy to peel off and the tape was very very sticky, which was good. However the second time I bought it, it wasn't the same. I had bought the bigger size, I don't know if they changed the formula or something, but the tape wasn't as sticky as before and didn't stick to itself that well. Also, the backing was very difficult to peel off. I bought it again the same size as I did the first time and the backing was easy to peel off, but the tape still wasn't as sticky as when I first bought it. But, it's still overall sticky and works fine.

I use those inexpensive folding resin tables as a desk because they are so easy to move when I need to rearrange things. I put a desk mat on top to make it more "desk-like," for lack of a better word. But the edge kept folding up when I would just lean on it with my arms. So I bought some of this double sided tape to hold it down, and it worked beautifully. It did exactly what I was hoping it would do. You can't even tell that the desk mat is taped underneath. No more flips and movement of the mat. I see a lot of reviews from people using it to hang things on the wall, so I am going to try that next. I will start with something small and inexpensive, just in case it fails. I will update my review when I have results. But for now, I would say this tape is a success! And, they even give you extra sheets of plastic for each side of the roll for storage so things don't stick to the sides of it (it is very sticky). This was a good buy :)

While it does stick on both sides, it’s neither heavy duty nor a tape per say. It is thick like a jelly or gummy. And it didn’t hold a piece of plastic to a piece of plastic. Came right off.

The double-sided tape works great for lightweight picture frames and other light items. However, it will not hold anything heavier than a plastic picture frame.
