Works but I don’t like giving it my WiFi password
To start like my intro says, the camera needs to access your Wi-Fi so you have to put your Wi-Fi password into it. It’s clearly made in a foreign country and I really hate these devices that require you to give them access to your network that you do your banking and everything else on. It makes me really nervous. That said, I’m a dumb American and I’ve done that with all sorts of appliances for convenience and I’m sure any number of foreign countries could probably remotely access these device devices and gain access to my network. I don’t know if you can get around that now. As far as the camera goes it’s functional. It’s a PTZ allowing it to go left right and up and down. The image quality is good. Remote access to your phone with notifications is also good. You can set it up to have a strobe light so if something or someone tripped it it will flash at them. You can access a speaker and talk through it but I don’t know how quality that is. Overall I really like the camera. Third point. It’s cheap. For what you get it’s pretty inexpensive. Do note that you have to buy a solar panel with it or you can do what I do and take out a portable charger every two months and just plug it in and set the charger on top of it. It’ll take half a day to charge the battery but it will run for two months or longer on that charge. But back to my point, it is a very quality camera and my concerns for what you get are that you do have to give it your Wi-Fi password and it connects to your network where you are using your personal data. It also requires a subscription service if you would like additional features. And I think that’s where they sell it for so low. Out of the box it will trigger on motion and flashlight and let you use the speaker all of the things I mentioned above but if you want to use better motion detection you have to pay for the premium features. Overall I’m happy with it despite my concerns and I just use the free version. I have it mounted out at the eve on the front of my house positioning to a 90° angle so that I can see my door and my garage overhead door. It’s programmed with motion detection so anyone coming up my driveway starts to trip it before they get to my front door and then I’ve changed it from the default 10 seconds to 15 seconds for video clips that are sent to my phone and I can watch them in almost real time. The premium features would be nice but I’m not going to pay for them. Overall it’s pretty good.

Quality and Features
I had been searching for some time to find a wireless security camera and was pleased to find the Dzees 2K Camera System. Everything that was expected for features were there and worked perfectly. Standard door cameras always seemed vulnerable to tampering or blocking. They also do not capture a wider view that could show a vehicle moving. For me the Dzees solves all of those problems and more. I was able to mount the camera high enough to be obscure and the remote aiming capabilities are great. Setting up different views that you can select at the touch of a button, gave me a lot of view flexibility. The image quality, day and night, is better than expected. I did install an optional SD card to provide in house storage. I also like the long cable for the solar panel for flexible placement. I installed this on a router that was about 6 years old and I needed an network extender, that I already had, to get the ”strong” signal I wanted. It did work fine on a “medium” connection but I wanted the extra jump. If you have a newer “mesh” router you should be able to shoot though walls without much problem. Access to the system from away, works OK but is a function of your internet service. I am using DSL (5mb) which is slow. Satellite service does not work where I live. Even so I getting the alarm in about 15 seconds. I did have a service question regarding lens condensation. We had 3” of rain in one day. The response to my question was within an hour. Very responsive and friendly. The warranty is great and the price for all the features is a bargain.

Nice Camera, Works thru StarLink
We installed couple of these with our transmission power line sensors – as a temporary thing, just for us engineers be able to see what is happening out there. These are very remote outdoors installations, at 9000ft elevation, in the South West mountains, about 50 miles from the nearest little town (of 146 people), and with absolutely no connectivity of any kind at all, so we use Starlink for the installation uplink. One is installed on a 1000ft cliff. After 4 months, everything is still running just fine. No trouble with the Starlink link either. Yes, this camera does work thru Starlink unlike some other devices. The camera lived thru numerous severe storms, including strong 2" hail and wind. If it works there, your home will not be a challenge. Impressive for a $100-ish device. Although numerous people connect to it routinely, the battery always shows as full, even on cloudy days. The only issue that I noticed is that the PTZ requires frequent recalibration, perhaps after a different user logs in. I am attaching few phone screenshots. The camera actually has better resolution than the pics.

From opening the box I had the app installed on my anf my wifes phone and the camera connected to our network and up and running in less than 10 mins. Camera quality is brilliant both stills and video. Really like the way it has a light and the ability to speak to whoever is outside. So impressed I am ordering a second one for the back garden. 10 out of 10

I bought four of these, to set up around the outside of the house. They arrived a day after ordering and taking one out of the box, it felt more solid and higher quality than I was expecting. The cameras were cheap, and even though the reviews/ratings were fairly high, I still wasn't expecting the quality and features that I got. Setup via the app was so simple. I had read some comments about issues/confusion with the app. To me, the interface and steps to get started were very easy. Again, I got more than I expected and I kept saying to my wife that I couldn't believe how much we were getting in terms of the features, for the price paid. To put it into context: 4 of these were less than the price of 1 google nest (battery operated) camera (which doesn't come with a solar panel!) I put them up around the house on the weekend, along with their solar panels .. all pretty simple stuff. If you can drill a few holes and wield a screwdriver while on a ladder, you should be ok. Notifications started coming through on my phone straight away, with short videos of me installing the cameras. They've been up a few days now and operating without a hitch. Batteries are staying up around 100% due to the continuous charging through the day from the solar panels. I haven't played at all with spotlights, sirens, activation areas etc. yet. The default setup for me seems to work fine so far. We're heading off on holidays soon and having these cameras up, remotely accessible gives us peace of mind way beyond the price paid. If I was to find a downside, it would be the lack of integration to other systems / apps. You pretty much have to use the provided app and cloud service (of which there is a free version). I run Home Assistant (smart home integration software) for some other things around our home, so it would have been nice to have an integration there, but not a biggie, it may come in future. All up, very happy with the purchase.
