WeruvaCats in The Kitchen, Kitchen Cuties Variety Pack, Wet Cat Food, 3.2oz Can (Pack of 12)

Our kitten loves this food. I’ve been feeding him multiple times a day from one can and we always leave him a little dry kibble (brand: Nulo) and he has grown into a very healthy, strong almost adult cat (his one yr bday is in May). I’ve fed him Weruva his whole life so far. The only issue I’ve run into, and I see someone else did too in the reviews, is with the lamb. The lamb has caused him to vomit and once have diarrhea. A few other times he snubs the lamb, and some times he doesn’t. So if he does snub it, I trust him and toss that can and give him a different one. Given how the lamb flavor somehow seems dicey or inconsistent or perhaps just not a good match for him I plan on stopping with the lamb. I’ve given some to a neighbor who said her kittens happily ate and enjoyed the lamb without problems.Overall I definitely recommend and also encourage you not to throw the baby out with the bath water, as they say. There are so many varieties and flavor options. I did also try the pouches once which he liked okay, but then I realized it was cat not kitten food, so I had to give it away since Amazon doesn’t do returns on food items of any kind.

My cat's veterinarian doctor has put my cat on a very low carb diet due to his age and diabetes. This brand was on a list that his doctor told me to refer to find low carb cat food, below 10%. All of these in the variety package are below 10% carbs ranging between 2-8%. It's main ingredients are pretty clean but does have a number of gums as is common in industrial processed food plus it has seed oil. The phosphorus rating is also a little high and precludes this from being his mainstay food so he doesn't catch kidney disease. My cat loves all 4 flavors and licks his bowl clean when he's done (a sign of respect in the cat culinary world). I have been checking the expiration dates on cat food that I order online as I recently had some orders of 6 cases of cat food that were expiring only a month out. This particular lot doesn't expire until May of 2027 which is 2 years and 7 months out from the time of this review so I know this is freshly produced and I won't be giving my cat expired food.

My cat isn't too picky when it comes to food. I've been feeding him Tiki Cat wet food since switching him from dry food to wet. Sometimes the Tiki Cat can get a little expensive, so I wanted to give Weruva a try. He loves it! I like that the flavors aren't all seafood or all poultry--there's a mix of different meats and flavors for him. This will definitely be a repurchase for me. One thing to note: the food is a bit jelly-like. When you open the can, it looks almost jiggly and jammy. But I always water down his food anyways for extra hydration, so he doesn't seem to mind it.

the cats mostly love this food but for one or two of them that makes them sick. i feel better when they eat Weruva than Purina. and all my pets have done well with this brand food.

My senior cat loves this food and eats the whole can, other brands he will only eat half of it before leaving the bowl.

My cat did not tolerate the lamb flavor. I purchased this brand from Petco before amongst others but I thought my cat had diarrhea due to somthing else at the time. Now that I have brought the same item from Amazon and she experienced same thing I know it’s this. The chicken and salmon was tolerated but not the lamb. I will never buy that flavor again. I have it to both my cats and they were both vomit and had diarrhea all night.

If you ever open a can of cat food and wondered what the heck is in here and it looks like mush, this is not that kind of food! When you open these cans, you can actually see what is inside: pieces of fish, little shrimp, and actual shredded chicken. From what I understand where this food is produced in the country that they have the same regulations on human food as they do pet food-so what you get is quality. Cats go crazy over it and there’s no wheat or other bad things. It’s a little more expensive, but totally worth it. They also have a bunch of other styles besides this one. see what they have and at least give it a whirl.

Original: have tried many brands of canned cat food for my finicky cat, and many she will turn up her nose at, or will only eat part of and let her brother eat the rest. She is happily eating this food! You can easily see that there is chicken in this can of food and it's full of gravy, which see loves! In comparison to other brands, the ingredients in here are the best and for the price, it's so affordable, what's not to love? My cats are both a little overweight and I've been looking for something healthy for them that they will like, and I've finally found it. I had been seriously considering making my own food for them because I had been unable to find anything suitable...up until now! This just saved me a ton of time, energy and work! Thank you!Update: On 2nd order, after the first can, both of my cats started throwing up violently and having severe diarrhea for hours. They would not touch another can when I tried to feed it to them. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but it is not worth poisoning my cat or a trip to the vet. I won't be buying it again because now my cats won't eat it sadly.
