I used this on top soil cor my succulent s. It looks good and works great.

This was very very dusty, like 1/4 dust from rocks. The rocks were very dull. Would not purchase again although used in a few succulents

This is a good gritty mix for cacti, succulents, caudex plants etc.The listing size is confusing, it says 2.2 liters for volume and 2.2 lbs for weight. The weight is accurate but the volume is not. This package would be enough for maybe 2 four-inch pots at most.It is a high quality mix. Note this comes in an unsealed (twisted at the top) plastic bag within an outer carton - I didn’t have any spillage but the possibility exists.

I've been using 1:1:1 ratios of soil, perlite and grit for my succulents pretty successfully. This is a good grit mix to use. It's good for drainage and preventing root rot.

We been using regular potting soil with lots of perlite. However, that was not good enough for our champaca. When we repotting it, we need more variety of grits/medium to keep the soil with better drainage. These mix was perfect. We did a 50/30/20 mix - 50% cactus soil mix, 30% of this bonsai soil mix, and 20% perlite. So far so good.
