I was looking for a replacement battery for my PSP 2000, and I decided to go with this one from OSTENT. Tbh I'm always a little skeptical of third-party batteries that claim "real" mAh ratings, but this one is legit for the most part. First, let's talk about capacity. I did a couple of full discharge tests, and while it didn't quite hit the advertised 1400mAh, it was consistently in the 1350-1380mAh range. That's fantastic for a non-OEM battery and way better than the 500mAh you get from some of the cheaper knockoffs. The voltage also holds up surprisingly well under load, so you don't have to worry about the system shutting off when the battery indicator is still showing 10%. I've gotten around 5-6 hours of solid playtime on it, btw, which is more than enough for long road trips. The reason it’s not a 5-star product is the fitment. It's a tiny bit snug getting it into the battery bay. It's not a huge deal, and it fits fine, but it doesn't snap in with the same satisfying click as the original Sony battery. It's a minor detail, but for a true enthusiast, it matters. Overall, if you need a reliable and affordable battery for your old PSP, this is a very solid choice. The capacity is what it says on the tin, and it performs great for all-day gaming.

Got to replace the battery on my psp, have been using this battery for about 10 months now and it’s still working very good, battery life is what you’d expected depending on gameplay, I usually get about 3-5 hours.

This is a pretty good option if you are looking to replace a PSP 2/3000 battery. I would say go for the higher capacity 1800mAh slim battery if you can, but they are rarely in stock. Also note if you have a dead CMOS battery in the PSP you will still have pretty bad battery drain, that is not caused by the battery you swap in. I would look into a YouTube video on how to remove that battery to prevent drain issues when idle.

literally broke my psp. it worked the 1st time 2nd time use it wouldnt turn on at all, but my psps works while plugged in to a lead and without the battery in dont buy this item

Tested on a Sony PSP-2000 using a new fully charged OSTENT Real Capacity 1400mAh battery. I played a memory stick copy of The Simpsons Movie continuously at full brightness and full volume. After 1 full playthrough (1h 30m) the battery showed 62% remaining. After a second full playthrough it showed 35%, and after a third playthrough it still had 23% remaining with 1h 21m estimated battery left. Getting 6 hours runtime is excellent for a replacement PSP battery. Very impressed so far.

Bateria super, trzyma bardzo długo

This battery works fantastic. However, my Psp sometimes turns off randomly and I have to turn back on. It might be that I need to clean the connectors for the battery with alcohol or something so that I can make better contact.

Meine PSP 2000 hatte irgendwann nur noch 2h Akkulaufzeit und ich war auf der Suche nach einem verlässlichen Ersatz. Hier wird leider so viel no-name Kram angeboten und bei Lithium Akkus bin ich immer vorsichtig mit dem was ich kaufe und was ich meinem Wohnzimmer laden möchte. Die OSTENT Akkus wurden mir von einem Kollegen mit einigen PSPs empfohlen und daher wollte ich diesen Akkus auch einmal eine Chance geben. Und was soll ich sagen? Ich wurde hier nicht enttäuscht. Meine PSP zeigt bei vollem Akku wieder 5-7 Stunden an und ich muss sagen, dass die Schätzung akkurat ist. Auch das Laden geht vergleichsweise schnell, sodass jetzt dem Spielen im Zug beim Pendeln keine Grenzen mehr gesetzt sind. Fazit: Die Akkus sind den Aufpreis auf jeden Fall wert. Sie liefern verlässliche Performance und versprechen keine absurden Kapazitäten, die dann sowieso nicht stimmen.
