Although I didn't use the included software (had my own), the cable itself worked fine on my 2008 BMW 5 Series. Those of you whom may have had issues with it, it could have possibly been caused by software vs the actual hardware. Don't know, but something to consider. Once again, since I didn't use the included software, can't say much about it, but the cable worked great.

Bought this product on Amazon for the fast Prime shipping. I expected the quality to be hit-or-miss due to the cheap price, especially compared to other “approved” cables. So far, it has connected to my 2012 BMW X5 flawlessly and quickly every time. It works with the MHD tuning app for N55 E-series cars

This cable only worked for or five times, and now it no longer works. I’ve only had this cable for one month and there hasn’t been any stress on the cable that would cause the wires to pray for any damage to the cable done. This cable is defective, I was skeptical before buying it based on other people saying that Amazon cables tend to be defective, but I bought it anyways. I am very disappointed with the cables performance as now it is absolutely useless and I’ve wasted my money on something that no longer works and cannot read any kind of data at all.

This was the perfect tool needed to run protool on my BMW and gather all my fault codes.

The product did what it's supposed to do, communicate with the vehicle. I have a 2006 mini cooper R53 so i realized after buying the cord that pins 7 and 8 needed to be soldered to communicate with a R53 Mini. Had i known that i would've gotten one with a switch ! But that was my fault not the seller. I used with my own software on a Dell inspiron Win 7 os laptop.

It arrived very quickly and I was able to flash MHD to my I8AOS DME in 38mins. once i got the OTG cable working properly. I had to hand build an OTG cable because the cheap one I bought didn't work.

I have a 08 335i and the product did not work, would light up for a second then just turn off! Never showed up connected on MHD either
