Driftwood Plank with painted folk art fish

Description

This driftwood plank came from the Popham Beach in mid-coast Maine. The plank is beautifully weathered by years of sun, sand wind and surf. You can still see a couple of ancient hand wrought nail heads. We cut the plank in half, joined the pieces together and painted this beautiful blue fish on the raw wood. The fish is about 20 inches and painted in various shades of blue, yellow and white highlights. This striking and unique piece on natural driftwood comes ready to hang.
