Better then Sony’s
It’s a really well made battery, some cases better than the original Sony battery and just LOOKS better in general. Looks like an actual premium product and not a friggin bomb. Looks pretty decent if you have a clear PSP shell and the price is good. The battery life on this is also really great, getting over 6 hours which is around the same time as the official Sony batteries back then so it’s a really good replacement.

Works perfectly!
This installs easily, charges quickly, and holds the charge for a long time, just like the branded batteries that Sony doesn't sell anymore. No tools are necessary. All you have to to is open the back of your PSP, take out the old battery, and put this into its place. It charges in a few hours, and it's ready to go!

Works great in PSP3000
I recently got a PSP and it didn't come with a battery so I bought a different brand battery and the PSP wouldn't recognize it, and when it did work the PSP would randomly shut off! I tried 2 of them! I thought there was something wrong with my PSP, found a thread on Reddit and this battery was highly recommended. And yes they were absolutely correct, problems solved and PSP is working flawless now!

High quality aftermarket battery to date
Battery fitment tolerances are almost perfect, ever so slightly oversized but didn't impact door closure or operation, just a slightly tight connector fit - life seems about on par with official Sony variants and considering their age it is welcome to have alternatives to such a proprietary form factor.Considering the alternative I'm very glad Ostent's consistently been supporting Sony battery replacements for multiple consoles and wish them the best of luck in persistence in the future.
