This is like a fun little encyclopedia of style. It's has a nice overall design, and gives a light look at a ton of different things. I bought this for myself, but I can see buying it again, as it would make an excellent gift.

My daughter is very inti fashion design and learning all about it. She loves this book. I love that it's more visual than wordy.

I can't wait to give this to a 9yo fashionista for Christmas.....It's a very nicely done book and has great illustrations and advice. She will love this and hopefully be inspired by it ,and learn from it. Very high quality book and a perfect price.

It's a nice book that's a fun way to learn about fashion. I wish it would have included more about Africa's influence on fashion and also African Americans. Overall, it is a good book.

Adults and kids alike will love the illustrations and details in this cute, clever, book.

Great Book for Kids and Big Kids! I just picked this up for my 10 year old daughter who is interested in fashion history. I could not put it down myself. This is a great way to sneak a history lesson into your fashion/clothes loving girl. Some of my favorite pages are in the back regarding fashion designers, hats, shoes, handbags, and modern fashion icons. The illustrations are adorable and the information is well written. I think you'll be happy with this. It works well with homeschooling using the Thinking Tree Book- Time Travel History Fashion Dreams which I also highly recommend.
