Great add on feature
I bought the Go Power 1500 Industrial pure sine wave inverter, and needed the additional remote. I am using this in conjunction with a small bank of LiFePO4 batteries with solar panels. This remote allows me to see the immediate wattage draw and the voltage status of my battery bank. Oh, and I can also turn the inverter on and off. That saves me energy when it is not in use. There are also 7 indicator LED's for showing any possible safety shutdown issues. The remote is so easy to install. One simple jack plugs into the inverter, and has 25' of cord for optimal placement. The remote is very rugged, and is surface mounted for use in vehicles, RV's, boats and so on. This is a high quality device that makes using and monitoring my inverter easy. I highly recommend it to anyone with Go Power industrial pure sine wave inverters. It is a good value for its functions and quality. I give it 5 stars.

Works excellent thus far.
This product seems very well built. It handles the loads I have applied quite well with no worries at all. I ran a fridge and a freezer separately and it did an excellent job. I ran it previously the night before all night and it ran without complaint. The only downside for me is that the fan is somewhat loud. This definitely would not work if you have to spend a lot of time in close proximity. The fan kicks on after a few minutes of running, not necessarily when under heavy load. All in all, it works great so far. I'll update later in another few months. UPDATE - 1 MONTH LATER. This unit continues to impress me. On a good sunny day, I can run two refrigerators comfortably. I use it on a solar system. The unit handles the load like a boss. It runs for about 12 hours per day and sometimes up to 15 hours. I am very satisfied so far and will definitely recommend this.

BEWARE: Poor build quality. Doesn’t not deserve even one star.
This is now my second GoPower 1500 inverter. The construct quality is very poor. The first inverter was difficult to plug in and broke in the same manner as pictured. The outlet simply fell in when plugging in my electronics. I purchased another one think it was fist a one off issue and I have owned GoPower products before with no issue. Order a new one and installed and left on a road trip to then go to plug in my chargers only to have the outlet fall in on the first use. Poor quality construction has me now stranded with the inability to charge. It would not be that big of a deal but I’m a working photographer who needs to charge my camera batteries, laptop and other items and I’m now with out a key piece of equipment. I caution anyone to be ware as all of GoPower inverters are of similar build and outlet interface. This item will be going back and I will be looking for another brand.

Solid & Reliable as I've tested!
This inverter works as advertised. Solid quality and seems like a good fit for my shop tools running off 600 watts of solar panels and 800 amp hours battery bank. The reason for 4 stars is that it doesn't show the volts of your batteries or the watts you are using like the older model does on my other solar set up in my work truck. So far these inverters have been working flawlessly in dirty work shop environments with high amounts of dust and heat. for years now. I recently purchased an AIMS brand 3000 watt inverter for another system and it didn't even last a month under similar conditions. Still waiting on Aims to come thru on the warrantee. So, Go Power is truly the most reliable but also the more expensive brand to get. Its better to spend the extra money as far as I have learned. Lastly, this model is not quiet when the cooling fan kicks on. So I wouldn't put it anywhere where you need things to be quiet when it is in operation. Cooling fan mostly comes on when temps around the unit are 90 and above or when you put a heavy load on it.

Impressed
Really great inverter. Haven’t had long and have only used a few times. I regret not going with the 3000 watt. I’ll probly have to sell this one then buy the 3000. I don’t believe this one will run my ac unit. Update I plan on running a 5000 btu window unit off this inverter, but didn’t want to spend the money till I knew it would run it. Yesterday I hooked a 8000 btu window unit I already had that was rated for 6.8 amps continuos and probly somewhere around 15-20 amps on start up. This little 1000 watt inverter ran it with no issues at all. Go power will be my choice from now on.

Easy Installation to my 5th Wheel RV
This was part of my RV upgrade which included (4) 100 amp, Battleborn Lithium batteries which I connected to the GP-ISW1500 with 2 AWG wires and a Bussmann CB285-150 amp fuse. I also have (6) Renogy 100 watt solar panels. Each of these components have been trouble free. With my RV Battery Disconnect switch OFF, I connect a 30 amp cable from my GP-ISW1500 to the RV shore power connection to power all the 120 Volt outlets in the RV (except the AC units). A great addition to our RV.
