This is a good quality weather tight box with a soft rubber like ring around the lid so that it seals when the lid is closed. The chassis plate in the bottom is of the same quality plastic as the rest of the box and is held in place with two screws with the option of securing it with two more. I am configuring this for a WIFI switch to be mounted in the attic. I chose the plastic or non metallic box so as not to have to have an external antenna. The box has four detachable mounting ears that attach to each rear corner and extend out from the corner to make mounting easy. Overall, great buy for the money and the next best thing to a metal container.

Box was installed on our pool deck for power. Worked great!

I used this box when installing my new pool pump. My old setup had an external timer with all the wiring running to it, but after upgrading to a pump with built-in programmable settings, the timer was no longer needed. I didn’t want the connection wires exposed on the outside of my house, so this box provided a clean, professional-looking solution to keep everything protected. It was easy to install and sealed up nicely. I’ve been using it for about six months now, and no water has gotten inside—everything still looks great and works perfectly.

I’ve used various sizes of these, and they’re nice little boxes for the price. My only complaint for this particular one is that it has plastic latches which I wasn’t aware of when I ordered. What’s nice is the tray is held down with screws / threaded inserts instead of right into the plastic itself. Also nice to have some cable glands included.

Really nice little weatherproof box. If you're wondering if Raspberry Pi 3B will fit in the 5.9"x3.9"x2.8", not really. The micro usb power cord on the side prevents it from sitting in there flat. Unless you have a 90 degree micro usb head... Also, note that some Cat 5 heads will BARELY fit through the included pass through grommets. But they will if you shave off the edges.

I’ve ordered three of these now! Needed waterproof enclosures for my Christmas light show controllers. These work perfectly! My only concern is the plastic snaps holding up to the cold weather. I hope they don’t get brittle and break. Time will tell. The included back plate for mounting equipment is awesome considering other brands charge extra for one.

Really good quality box that I used to put an WiFi extender in outside. Will see if it remains waterproof but no reason why not. Nice you get glands as well.

Very good product but two were sent (separately) instead of the one ordered and paid for. Totally unable to make contact to see if Amazon requred item sent in error to be sent back.
