This purple is spectacular!
I’m taking a ceramics/pottery class at my local community college and when it came time to start glazing my pieces I realized we didn’t have any purple hues at all - purple was really important to me in my work.I found this glaze and it was the purple of my dreams. It came out exactly how I wanted it! Some of my pieces were fired in the electric kiln and some of my pieces were fired in reduction and all of my pieces came out absolutely stunning. Works great
It looks nice but, you have to build up the layers otherwise it will be more of a blue color. Looks pretty good with 7 layers. Easy to use and great value for the money. Good quality not glossy.

Exactly what I wanted
Examples fired to ~Cone 5 (was aiming for cone 6 but had a kiln issue). The lighter clay is Laguna #55 and the darker is Laguna #70
