Perfect for me. I love the product.

It's a light plastic top with a hinge that screws onto a wide-mouth Ball jar. I'll keep it but don't know how the plastic top will hold up over time. The idea is solid and the height good. It's overpriced for what it is; I could have bought a single Ball jar for $1.99 and just topped it with the plastic screw on top which shouldn't be more than $5.00. Seller should consider selling the top and bottom separately as an option.

I’ve tried some other herb savers and this works much better than the otters did. I am waiting to see how the door on the plastic to holds up. I have a feeling that could crack/break quite easily.

Buy this! I almost didn’t buy this product because a few reviewers mentioned that the door was not functioning properly when they received it and it seems this happens during shipping maybe. This is easily fixed by just snapping it back into place. It took a little finagling to get the hinge in, but with a little patience I was able to reattach it and it works amazingly well and now it opens and closes no problem- I have opened and closed it like a 100 times lol. Also, my herbs stay good FOREVER. Thankful I took a chance on this product.

PRO: It really did keep my Cilantro fresh longer than other ways I’ve tried.Only CON: My bunch of Cilantro, from the grocery store, was quite large & tall. I just cut some stems shorter and used them in salad that night or you could use a taller 1 quart jar. ( I divided the whole bunch, used some that night and put some in a glass of water in the refrig. that stayed ok for about 3-4 days but the Cilantro in the mason jar with herb lid stayed crisp & fresh for days longer.

The product is a great idea but the execution is of poor quality.Pro - The mason glass jar is wide at the mouth and quality glass.Con - The plastic lid is trash. I washed it by hand and it still crack and the base and does not screw on the bottom.Recommendation to HERB Angel. Get rid of the plastic door and just make it a screw top plastic dome. That should give it more strength at the base where it breaks. Just too weak. Hopefully Herb Angle 2.0 will upgrade and make a better product.I hope this helps someone out.

As someone who enjoys cooking with fresh herbs, this product is a must have! My wife and I particularly like to cook with cilantro & parsley for latin & italian dishes- so that’s what we’ve placed in the Herb Angel so far. The worst thing is having dried out or wilted herbs when trying to chef up a nice dinner, the Herb Angel will save you from that! It’s kept our herbs fresh for up to two weeks. What a convenient little gadget, it easily fits in the refrigerator door and most importantly IT WORKS!!
