Double Bond Real Thick (3.1 Mil) Commercial Grade Packing Tape, 1.88" x 54.6 Yds (48mm x 50m) Clear (R936), 36 Rolls

This is excellent quality packing tape at an unbelievably low price. Tape is thick, strong, and adheres well. Easy to get started again if the end gets taped back down to the roll. The few times I managed to get the tape stuck to itself, it separated easily with no detriment to its adhesion properties. I would caution you though that this tape has an incredibly strong chemical odor. I had to store it in a closet when not actively packing boxes and I felt a bit light-headed after being around the tape for prolonged periods of time. But hey, the trade off in cost is worth it to me. The few rolls I didn't use I have had for a few weeks now and they no longer smell. If you can, I would suggest purchasing this tape a couple weeks before you plan to use it and allow it to off-gas in a closet or outside.

We've been using this tape for all of our shipping needs for several months, and I am very impressed by the quality! The tape holds together well (none of the irritating self-splicing that you get with some tapes!), it is thick and sturdy (important, since we ship heavy books), and it is easy to manage (finding the end is never an issue, it cuts well, and dispenses well). We've been through a number of brands (office store off-brand offerings, along with the more expensive, well-known brands), and this is really the best quality tape I've ever used. Thank you for providing such great quality at such an affordable price!

It works fine, but wish it was a tad thicker, it gets stuck in my dispenser. But for the price, hard to beat, I have ordered it twice now.

I am very satisfied with the tape. It smells, but not more than any other brand new shipping tape. I can only smell it when I get my nose right up to the tape. I will absolutely reorder from this company. They proactively reached out and let me know they had installed additional scent-reducing equipment in their factory, so I'm looking forward to seeing if it worked when I reorder. I use this tape in a tape gun, and highly recommend that everyone use a properly tensioned tape gun if you need to do a lot of taping. The tape is sticky enough, and adheres well to boxes when pressed down thoroughly. Overall, I'm satisfied and will purchase again! A small detail that I really appreciated is that the "start of roll" arrows were placed very close to the end of the tape. Most other tapes have them a half inch to an inch from the edge of the tape, which makes it difficult to start the roll. This tape opened easily and quickly.

I bought this item and the 3M one at the same time, both are 3.1 mil and 110 yards. In order to find out which one is better and economic for my daily packing job, I tried both with my AiT 2'' tape gun (really like this tape gun, much better than 3M tape gun or Uline one regarding weight, ergonomic, effortless). I think both tape are good quality, as is what they describe, work very well in my case. (for carton packing, I use cheaper 0.8mil tape, but for color box I must use quality one 3.1 mil). One thing that I think 3M tape is more effortless when you pull it, but price is too high ($3/roll), I think this item is good enough for my need, it's durable solution.

The quality exceeds my expectations, this is the second time ordering (Only I'm getting a 12 pack instead of 6). The price is great, it sticks very well, and it does not have that awful smell that a lot of cheap tape has. I use this tape to ship, it works perfectly and the price is amazing. I definitely recommend.

I like the thickness of this tape, we are packing for a move to Europe, and this is by far the best tape we have ever used. It immediately sticks to the boxes, and stays stuck.

When they say “real thick”, they ain't kidding! It’s very hard to use and move around a box using the dispenser, but if you are looking for ridiculously thick packing tape, this is it! Lol.
