Great lock! It feels sturdy and well made, and the combination is easy to set and use. Installation was simple, and it works smoothly every time. I really like the added security without needing to carry a key. Very convenient and reliable. Highly recommend!

So far, this is exactly what I was looking for and it was super easy to install. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to figure it out and wouldn't be able to install it without help or power tools, but the process was so easy, and there's even a video to help with installation and programming! Trust me...if me and my friend could figure it out, you can too. I primarily wanted this model because I knew I did not want a 'smart' lock but wanted features that made this lock easy to use. The ability to program multiple codes is amazing, and the fingerprint is so convenient. (Note: Make sure you only program fingerprints that you trust to have access to your home at all times. To delete a fingerprint you have to scan that fingerprint again) The auto lock feature is great, so when my hands are full and I'm headed out the door, it is fast and locks itself right up. I got the silver and it looks very elegant and polished. I will update this review if anything changes, but so far am very pleased!

*I’m increasing my rating from 3 to 4 stars because the company reached out to me and apologized for the problems I was having. First they offered a refund, then ignored that offer, sent a new unit instead. If they had provided the refund they initially offered I would have given 5 stars for excellent customer service in standing by their product. I would suggest to the company not to offer a refund then ignore it! I do consider myself lucky though to even get a replacement unit since I was well beyond the 30 day return window. So many others weren’t so lucky. Hopefully this new unit will perform better! ———————— This was great at first. It seems well made, is fairly easy to install (but we have done quite a few in the past), looks good, has simple controls and clear, easy to press manual buttons. But it locks way too fast and we have tried making the waiting time longer but it always seems to reset back to the minimum which is like five seconds, and the sequence of codes you have to enter to program this thing are ridiculous. If we don’t immediately close the door it will go crazy trying to lock over and over. It’s so annoying. It should have a bypass button, especially when you’re going to be in and out a lot working in the yard, etc. I was going to buy another one for our other door but not now. I want to note that we haven’t experienced the battery issues so many other reviewers have mentioned, and we’ve never been locked out due to malfunction!

The door lock is strong and perfect size. It worked great with the finger prints, code or key. It gives us a sense of confidence and security for the whole family. I highly recommend it!👍

⭐⭐☆☆☆ 2/5 — Worked well at first, but failed after about two years I purchased the TEEHO TE002 because I wanted a convenient smart lock with fingerprint access, keypad entry, and a traditional key backup. Installation was straightforward, and initially the lock worked very well. The fingerprint reader was convenient, and the lock performed as expected. Unfortunately, after a little over two years, the lock developed a serious and intermittent problem. When locking, the motor would extend the deadbolt completely and then immediately retract it. It would repeat this cycle about three times before stopping. This happened with the door completely open, so it wasn't an alignment or strike-plate problem. I went through extensive troubleshooting, including: Factory reset and recalibration Checking the interior/exterior wiring connection Reinstalling the interior assembly Checking the thumb-turn and torque blade Confirming the mechanism moved smoothly by hand Testing with the door open and closed Installing brand-new Duracell alkaline batteries, measuring approximately 1.6V each The new batteries temporarily fixed the problem, but unfortunately the same failure eventually returned. At that point, the symptoms strongly suggested an internal motor/position-sensing or electronic control problem. What was most disappointing was the warranty experience. TEEHO advised that the standard warranty is only one year, so because my lock was a little over two years old, they would not replace it. As a goodwill gesture, they offered $15 toward purchasing another TEEHO lock. After experiencing this failure, I wasn't comfortable purchasing the same brand again. Bottom line: The TE002 was a good value and worked well initially, but a smart lock is something I expect to be reliable for many years. Having the motor repeatedly lock and then unlock itself is a significant failure, and the limited warranty provided little protection when the problem appeared just beyond two years. I'm replacing it with a lock from a more established manufacturer with a longer warranty and stronger long-term reliability reputation. Pros: Easy installation, fingerprint/keypad convenience, good functionality when working, affordable. Cons: Serious motor/electronic failure after ~2 years, intermittent lock/unlock cycling, limited warranty, disappointing warranty support. Overall: 2/5 — Good features for the price, but reliability and warranty support are not where they need to be for a door lock.

Sick of fumbling for keys, or waiting for the person with the key so you can get in? This is the answer! Easy to fit in place of existing lock, and 5 minutes to set up pass codes and finger prints. Now I need one for the back door!! Highly recommend

Bought this as I wanted an electronic lock that was not wifi. This is not my first electronic lock, so install for me was extremely quick as this is no different from some others I have installed, and the supplied instructions were easy to follow so even if you haven't installed one in the past, you should be fine with this one. The face of the lock has a nice metal finish and the buttons feel durable. The back (or inside) is plastic so a little less sturdy feeling, but this isn't an issue as it is inside the house. The mechanism itself worked perfectly, opening and closing easily. I also like the ability to set multiple codes, turn on auto-locking (so it automatically locks the door after 30 seconds), and set one-time codes.

Fairly easy install, this was replacing an existing deadbolt so I simply had to remove it prior to the install. Only issues encountered were when I misread the instructions. Programming the unit gave me more grief but again, mostly self inflicted. Master password updated OK but I fought for a while trying to get the first fingerprint loaded. I wanted to use my right index finger but it kept failing, I eventually tried a different finger and no issue. Got several fingers and thumbs loaded but the right index never did work. Auto lock works fine for me (activation required), I went for the 30 second time frame but if that’s too long for you to wait, hit any keypad button for two seconds and whatever delay time you chose will be bypassed for an immediate lock.
