Suicide Squad (Amazon-Exclusive) (Deadshot figurine) (Blu-ray + DVD + UltraViolet Combo Pack)

I pre-ordered the set back on August 9, so it was quite a wait, but it finally arrived on release day, December 13, and after opening it up I found out just how worth the wait it was. I can't comment on the extended cut yet, it might be a while until I have time to get to it (I'm a full time father to a toddler), but I saw the original cut in theaters on its release day back on August 5 and just absolutely loved it. Not saying it's the best movie in the world, nor that it's perfect, but for my tastes and expectations of it, it was pretty damn awesome. And pretty much Harley Quinn, don't really need to say more. Which brings me to the statue, if I could rate this purchase more than five star, I would. Even though it was never 100% certain, I was under the assumption that the included statue was the going to be exactly the same as the original DC Collectibles release. Although, a part of me was thinking it could possibly be a smaller version. Turns out, it is in fact the same as the original, but with an exclusive deco on the base. The original goes for $150+, so for anyone interested in the statue, this is a great deal. Full disclosure, this Harley Quinn statue is probably now my all time favorite piece among all of my collections. I was pretty much blown away, impressed more than I thought I would be. None of the stock photos I've seen of the statue has really done it justice, in my opinion. She looks so much better in person. The sculpt, paint and details are absolutely amazing. And the discovery that she has real fabric shorts and fishnet stockings was a very nice surprise. Great weight and height too, a whopping 12" tall, not including the base. The base is an additional around 3/4". Bottom line, awesome movie, and at $116.99 it's an awesome deal on the amazing Harley Quinn statue. I'm giving this one my highest recommendation for fans of the character looking for a great collectible of her, just get it!

I have some 1/6 scale Sideshow and this is every bit the quality. I wish I could order other statues from the movie and hope Amazon has more of these Amazon-Exclusives. Fine coloring, many interesting details. Everything you see in the photo looks better on the shelf. The textures on the statue are impressive - the stockings are raised material of some kind. Can't say I really care about the DVD, the extended version makes me grateful for the cuts they made on the theatrical release. None of the additional material added anything and a few scenes actually didn't make sense. Spoiler: For instance after seeing Slipknot's head blown off they have scenes showing a conspiracy by some of the members to get away.

First off I want to say that I still don't understand why someone gives a 1 star rating to a defective / damaged product that was quite possibly damaged during shipping. It's simple, if that happens send it back for a replacement... Well now that that is out the I can get to reviewing the actual product... YES believe it or not I will be reviewing the actual product and not the service in getting the product. I ordered this Collector's set with a bunch of other stuff, and being an international shopper was surprised at how quickly it arrived. On arrival I opened the massive box in which my items had been shipped, wondering what was taking up so much space. I was presently surprised when I realised that the DVD / Blu-Ray set was what was taking up most of the space. As with all my collectors box sets I did a recording of the unboxing which I will be loading onto YouTube as soon as I have had a chance to edit the video. The box itself is very brightly coloured, and scream Suicide Squad... Kind of gets the excitement going. Opening the box, the statue is well protected which a Styrofoam "casing". The statue of Harley Quinn is HUGE, and really stands out when placed among my other collector's sets. The amount of detail put into the statue should also be complemented. I was actually really impressed with the fishnet stockings, which are actual fabric "stockings". The statue fits firmly onto the base stand which also has a very nice design on the base. I feel that despite the high price, it was money well spent, and if I could afford it I would very like the Deadshot set as well, purely for the statue and the quality thereof. I would highly recommend this set to any Harley Quinn fan.

I was super hesitant to buy this but it was worth the money. If you're thinking of getting one, do it already! She comes with an exclusive base that says rotten on it like her cheek. This base can only be purchased on Amazon which makes it more unique as the other Harley Quinn's come on the standard gray Suicide Squad dog tag base. (Which isn't as pretty in my option) She's very tall, good weight, and well made. Some minor paint flaws but she's kind of a hot mess anyway so it works!

The movie is what it is. I personally love it, and I do think the extended cut (which is included here) is a bit better than the theatrical version, though it's not an entirely different movie like some extended cuts can be. But let's be real. If you're going to shell out $100+ for this edition, you're buying it for the statue. And she's fantastic. Her likeness is great. She's prettier than the pictures. She feels like a sculpted resin statue, though parts of her (pigtails and jacket, for example) are soft-ish plastic. I do worry that the "J" zipper pull on her jacket can break off if one is not careful, or that keeping her in this dry Denver climate may not serve her well in the long run. Same with her fishnet stockings, which are fabric and not sculpted. I hope they don't stretch and lose their integrity over time, because her shorts and boots are molded over them, so there is no option to replace them if they should eventually need it. But enough about my apprehensions- right out of the box, this is a gorgeous statue and well worth the $115ish that I paid for her. She's about 12" and the detail is amazing. Her face is gorgeous, her likeness and little details are done so well, and I have no regrets about buying her. I'm a huge Harley Quinn collector/fan, and this is the crowning piece of my collection. If you're on the fence or debating your purchase, let me tell you that this is worth every penny, and you will be happy to have her in your collection.

I really liked the movie, but then again I'm a huge DC/Batman fan. The extended edition didn't really add much to the story like Batman v Superman's Ultimate Edition did (filled gaps). The real treasure about this Amazon-Exclusive edition is the Harley Quinn statue. It is ill, the fishnet stockings are even made of real fabric. The statue itself has a good weight and feel to it. The scale is a little larger than the Batman v Superman Amazon-Exclusive edition Batman statue, see picture. I even talked one of my friends to buy this statue edition after he saw mine. I believe the price of $116 was worth it.

I ordered this expecting that the figurine would be five to six inches tall at best. Holy crap was I wrong; the figurine is actually more like fifteen to twenty inches and is extremely detailed and exacting in appearance. I love it! Harley looks super badass and is currently occupying a position of honor on my mantelpiece! She looks extremely cool. As to the movie itself; the extended edition thankfully fleshes out some of the details that were lost in the theatrical version, but not enough to make it less choppy. I like the movie overall, but DC has not exactly been hitting it out of the park with their movie line-ups so far. I'm hopeful Wonder Woman will change that trend, and also hopeful that Amazon will offer a similar deal to this with a super-detailed Wonder Woman figurine when that movie gets released on Blu-ray. Hint hint, Amazon? ;)

I wanted to review this statue and compare it against the original DC Collectibles statue and I'll try to make this a quick read so here we go. Packaging - The box art varies off a bit from the original release but nothing crazy. I prefer the original box art. Height - This is the first thing I noticed, it's just over a 1/4" shorter than the original. I measured both bases as they are separate pieces and they are the exact same height. This is imporant more so for collectors. Molds - The amazon version seems to have better definition and a more accurate head mold. Paint - The paint is very similar but the tattoos are more defined on the amazon exclusive and the hair is more of a dirty blonde than a bleach blonde. Overall the statues are really good for what they are but now I'm not sure if I want to keep both or not. Hope this was helpful .
