Sturdy and reliable
Fantastic controllers. Didn't know I already had it for a couple years. The thumb grips got worked up, but nothing a few replacement I've found on Amazon can't fix. I can't really say much about the lights. Many people like it and they do work properly. But as a controller itself, this is definitely the best and pocket friendly out there. The wire isn't frayed, the cover is still intact, the connector isnt broken, everything is ship shape. For about three years of using it, it didn't let me and my brother, and I guess my sisters down. The fix was shortlived because the screw holes let up. Could've taped them together but oh well. Bought a new one and it still holds up for months now. I'm happy with this controller.Another thing I've noticed, some games are a bit hissy with the controller, and therefore need original microsoft controllers to perform seamlessly. Just letting y'all know. Still the best third party controller.

Cool Blue Look; Same Great Taste
It is what is advertised. Interestingly it feels a bit nicer than my other Afterglow 360 controller. That one's d-pad wore out after using it for basically all of my PC gaming since 2013 so I was pretty sure I wanted another one of these. Maybe it's just because it's new but all the buttons feel more responsive on it. The only thing that's significantly different is that you can unplug the cord from the controller whereas my other model was hardwired into it. I'm not sure if that's good or bad but it seems like it'll be nice for storing it or replacing the cord if there's an issue and the controller part still works fine. Plus, it has those cool blue lights in it. It gets the job done and I'm pretty confident it'll last me a good few years, which makes it a damn good deal considering the price.

Not the same Afterglow controller anymore, they've gone cheap on materials
Extremely disappointed in PDP and what they've done to this controller. I've had 3 of these controllers now over the span of several years. The first two times I got them, ~2017, the controllers were fantastic and had a great feel to them. Strong grip on the joysticks, fast reacting buttons. Nothing about it felt cheap and $28 was a great price for it.I've turned down official XBOX and PS4 controllers in favor of the Afterglow because it felt so much better in your hands and the responsiveness. However, this latest order in June 2019 has me so disappointed in their product now that I will NEVER buy an Afterglow controller ever again. PDP, the maker of the controller, has gone cheap on EVERY SINGLE part of the product after 2017. The joysticks are now a very cheap plastic that has almost 0 grip, feels weak and light, and has horrible response. ALL of the buttons and the case are now also an extremely cheap plastic that leaves something to be desired on ALL FRONTS. The LB/RB buttons are ABSOLUTE terrible and barely click now like an unresponsive cheap product. As well as the L2/R2 triggers are such horrendous plastic that they feel like they are going to break off at any minute; and I just got this controller days ago.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! IT IS FALSELY BEING ADVERTISED AS THE SAME AFTERGLOW THAT THEY'VE ALWAYS HAD FOR YEARS BUT IT IS NOT THE SAME AT ALL!BUYERS BE WARNED!! This controller should be in the less than $5 range with what they've done to it.

Fantastic!
I love this! It's a very quality and responsive controller .As of writing this review (months after purchase), it has withstood countless hours of use. I don't use the LED very often to be completely honest, but all of the LED's still work after light usage of them. I use this solely for PC gaming, so I can't say anything about console use, but all the games I've used this controller for have detected and worked with the controller without issue (however, some games on the PC WILL be incompatible with xbox controllers in general, but that sort of goes without saying). It installed without issue and worked fine right out of the packaging. The sticks, d-pad, buttons, and triggers all feel very satisfying to push/pull and all still work perfectly fine. The triggers and buttons have a nice bit of resist to them, but not too much to the point that they are hard to pull. It's responsive and overall a great product. I fully recommend this to anyone considering buying.

Excellent Warranty Service (and Longer Than Listed)
It works just as well as the official Xbox controller. It glows in the dark, so I can switch off all the lights and plays games in a dark room. But you know that already. So I am gonna tell you about my experience with the customer service and warranty.I think the warranty period for this controller is 90 days or something. (Most game controllers and mice have three to six month warranty.) I think I bought this controller in May 2014, and its A-button broke in November 2014. The internal spring of the A-button had lost its elasticity. When I pressed the A-button, it would stay down and not bounce back up promptly. That is a very common problem with the A-button because it is the one that is repeatedly pressed and abused the most. So I called up the manufacturer, knowing that the warranty period had expired. I had to call a few times because no one picked up the phone during the first few calls. When I finally got to speak to a customer service rep, he told me not to worry about the warranty. He told me to send the controller back, and they would send me a new one when they received the broken one. I did not have to include the original box or packaging, a printout of the receipt or invoice, or anything else that originally came with the controller. I just had to put the broken controller in an envelop and send it back. I sent it back in its original packaging with all the original materials and a printout of my receipt from Amazon. Then they send a new one to me within a week. (P.S. Their office is located near where I live.)
