where are these laces made?

Why does it matter? If they don't work, Tractor Supply or a shoe store can be contacted to look at a different product. I suggest a Red Wing store for more and better options. These will work until you get a chance to do this.

...What is the thickness of the lace..example 3/16th " or thicker?

According to my trusting old ruler, it looks like 3/16" or 4mm.

What length for 6 eyelets?

My order was 71 inches, because you want extra length for loosening your aces, if your boots get a little hot on long hikes for breath ability, or if it is cold to wear thicker socks.

What's the difference in color between the high and low density black?

High density is woven from a more number of finer silk threads, making the surface texture of the shoelaces is different, as the picture shows. Low-density feel soft, High density looks tighter.
