I hung this can on the passenger side back. If I have a piece of trash I can reach the can easily from the driver seat. If you eat in your car and have a lot of large trash you might need something larger, but I do not eat in my car so just having a little trash receptacle for tissues, receipts. and such is all I needed.

SO happy with this little trashcan! Small enough to fit perfectly in the little space behind the cupholders in the front center console. I didn't even try to fiddle with the hanger- the Honda Pilot's plastic is far too thick in all of the front seat area. Definitely only for tiny trash items like gum wrappers and receipts- my husband's favorite thing to leave all around my car. Well, no more! The mess WILL be tamed!

This would have been perfect if I could attach it to the console side of my new Hyundai. The hard plastic clip sides are too close together to fit. I wasn't thinking and tried to install it and it immediately broke. Would be better if it weren't made of hard plastic with no give.

Needed a small trash can for my “new to me” 2014 Prius v, this one is working great. Clips right onto the side of the console. It doesn’t push all the way down on the clip, but it hasn’t affected the use of the trashcan. Both of my daughters have told me that the bin does not get in their space when they are riding. I use typical grocery bag and just fold one side under the slide clips to hold it in place. The bin is a good bit smaller than the grocery bag, but that doesn’t really cause a problem.

Nice size and looks nice. It was so nice my daughter took it for her car which means I will have to buy another.

Compact but large enough. A bit brittle, so folding forward your rear seats can break it if not careful.

After signing the last of the paperwork on our new Terrain, I realized I had no gear shift, aka garbage bag holder! This product was recommended by another Amazon user who said it worked great in her GMC suv. The problem I have with it is that the clips are too close to the actual trash bin and are not flexible enough to attach securely over the the part of the console that one would normally affix this. Consequently, the clips give way if someone just brushes up against it then it spills the trash onto the floor. Surely there has to be a better way to design the part that attaches to fit a variety of vehicles.

To be more useful in a subcompact car such as a Honda Fit, this should be smaller. Wanted to use it on a door, but it's too long. Should have checked the dimensions more carefully. The clip could be more flexible/adaptable to allow for placement in other areas of vehicles. Overall, this might work best on a somewhat larger vehicle.

Good unit. Size is adequate but mounting was the issue. Should have detachable mounting clipboard bracket and double side adhesive strips for a flexible mounting option? Perhaps even a velcro option? Just a thought?
