Not convinced that the plating is real gold......

Well built sockets but I genuinely doubt that the plating is real gold as soldering them was often problematic. I also noticed that the fit between the socket and its matching plug (from the same manufacturer) was often a little sloppy. This could be improved a little by gently squeezing the earth part of the plug shell with pliers, but be careful as the material is quite brittle! Not worth sending them back at the price but I probably wouldn't order them again.
