This is a colorful and "happy" bath mat. My husband is a big fan of octopi, and loves the design, as do our guests. It's a thin mat, dries quickly, and if it gets moved to the sink area next to the door, it is thin enough to not obstruct the door's opening and closing.

Thin, doesn't help with water, gets moldy from water very quickly
Fades quickly and gets moldy if not thrown in the washer/dryer after shower use and stepped on. Very thin and doesn't keep water off the floor

I love this bath mat. It does exactly what I need. It keeps my floor dry and looks amazing. It looks exactly like the picture! There are definitely better bath mats out there for the price and looks this is amazing.
