Compared to some of the other soaker hoses I have reviewed this one is a bit more lightweight.This is both a pro and a con.In the "pro" column, the hose is far easier to cut, assemble and maneuver. The plastic joints/fittings insert into the hose firmly. I highly recommend using olive oil or other natural types of lubricant on the ends of the plastic fittings in order to help them slide on with ease. The hose was also able to be attached to the spigot without leaking and performed best with the spigot at about 50-75% full pressure.In the "con" column is longevity: this hose may not survive multiple years when buried underground. I am a big believer in burying soaker hoses for them to be most effective and to mitigate evaporation when in use.Other soaker hoses I have reviewed are comprised of a much thicker (and heavier) rubber whereas the construction of this hose, while wholly adequate, may be more prone to the effects of heating/thawing that our Pennsylvania seasons are known for.This hose would be absolutely fine in more moderate climates if durability is your concern. In climates such as mine, I would absolutely recommend pulling the hose out of the ground after the gardening season is done.4 Stars. Recommended!

The garden Soaker Hose is fantastic! It waters my plants evenly and is super easy to set up. I found looping around the rose bush or other bushes to work well for watering the plants more evenly. I have also run it in a straight line for watering my vegetables in my garden beds.

This line was put in place back in Nov 22. We planted onions on the line and just used it today. The line was turned on for 1 hr at 50 psi. It quickly showed drips and beads of water. After 1 hr the spread was over 18 inches at the connection end and a little less at the terminal end. This hose seems durable and well made. It has a reducer at the connection end but it did not restrict the flow like some others. The hose saves on time of watering as well as usage.

The media could not be loaded. Works great and is long enough that I can cover all of my small garden bed. The connect is good and doesn’t leak, and it has a consistent soak. I wish the steaks were more sturdy or metal because they are very hard to place it rocky/claylike soil.

This hose like other soaker hoses needs time in the sun to heat up before setting it up. This helps relax the hose and avoid kinks and rolling.The accessories included are very helpful allowing you to set up your hose in the shape needed.The warranty is 7 years which is a great.
