Incredible Customer Service
I've owned "audiophile" over-ears for the last 6 years or so now, but never had confidence in spending that kind of money on earbuds, since I was always worried about durability and the off-chance that I'd lose them.Well, I finally caved and decided on the MEE M7 Pros. These are also the first dual-driver earbuds I've ever heard. With that being said, I'm not the most objective reviewer of headphones and I don't claim to be a connoisseur of high-end audio. For reference, my other two pairs of headphones are Sennheiser 280 Pros and HD 598s.These remind me quite a bit of the sound in the 598s with a surprisingly flat EQ. I've read several reviews that talk about shrill highs and lacking in bass, but I don't see it. My guess is that they don't have a good fit as I was having a similar issue until I tried on some more of the 7(!) tips. Once I found a good fit (the larger Comply pair for me), they blocked out almost all the sound around me (which I think bothers my roommate at time when he's trying to talk to me) and the range is fantastic. At this point, I'll mention that my pair was a refurbished unit and at high volumes, on my right earpiece, there is a significant buzz/rattle. I contacted MEE support and without even having to send my current pair back, they have let me know they are sending a replacement piece. An incredible response as this meant I can still listen to them while I wait for the new piece to arrive. And thanks to their modular nature, this means that I can just swap out the one side and keep the distorted one as a spare for safe keeping. The only complaint that I have so far with these is that the solid plastic section being on a swivel means that they're a bit unintuitive to put on at first. I still fumble a bit getting them on as a figure out which way they're supposed to go on. But this balances out the fact that this is a feature I've not even seen on other pairs so I can form fit the loop to my ears.Overall, I highly recommend both the manufacturer and the monitors themselves. I look forward to spending years with these and a pocket-size compliment to my other pairs.

Great headphone, but not brand new as claimed to be.
The media could not be loaded. Important message: “not brand new” here means the package was not in a good shape but might not be used before.Received the headphones today, the sound was pretty good so I gave all five stars to material quality and sound quality. I also gave 5 stars to durability, but might change it later if it is not that durable. The reason why I gave it 3 stars overall is because it is not brand new. All 4 plastic stickers are tore up, but the seller put a label that claims it to be “new item”. And when I opened it up the plastic wrap that holds the cables are full of scratches, seems like someone has tried to take the cables out without tearing up the wrap.Maybe it was opened but not used, but I still don’t feel good about it.I bought it at a full price so I’m expecting to receive a totally new item. The package shouldn’t be opened. The sound quality was good plus I need headphones with me to give me some rest on my international flight tomorrow. So I’m not going to return or change it. Just feeling uncomfortable

Really wanted to like them
I very rarely write reviews because often times my prior research of a product rarely leads to disappointment; however, in this particular case, I feel that something probably needs to be said.I bought these headphones to fit underneath a motorcycle helmet and for that purpose, they worked EXCEPTIONALLY well. They stayed in my ears while taking on and off my helmet, they sounded great, they cut out wind noise, and they were comfortable. If I did not have such inconsistency in their performance then I would have never returned them. Let me explain. The headphones came with two cables: basically one without any controls and one with a single button (pause music, answer call, skip tracks). Besides the slightly confusing aspect of trying to control everything with the timing of clicks on a single button (without any volume control), NEITHER of these cables worked correctly. The basic cable (no button) with a confidently secure connection to my phone would periodically cycle in and out of great sound quality and what I can best describe as "hallway" music. It would sound like I was listening to the music echoing from a distance the hallways of a high school. Maybe 80% of the time this didn't happen but the 20% of time spent fiddling with the connections and moving the cable just to get good sound was frustrating. To make matters worse, just touching the cable would greatly change the response of this "hallway" effect. Finally, if that was not enough, while holding my phone in my inner jacket pocket (that has the headphone jack protruding just enough out of the top of the pocket that it touches my shirt) would periodically shock me through my shirt. I can only assume these issues have to do with a cable grounding problem but I do not discount that possibility that it is my phone (LG V30) that has the problem (though that seems less likely). The "more advanced" cable sounded FAR better; however, it would periodically and unpreventably start decreasing the volume of my phone. Basically, I would turn the volume up on my phone, start listening to music, and at certain times within the span of about 10 seconds, my phone volume would go to zero. Sometimes aggressively enough that I could hold the volume up button on my phone and it would not do anything. The only thing I found that fixed it was disconnecting the earbuds from the cable and reconnecting them (and even that was random). In summary, without the cable issues, these headphones might have been great; however, they were frustrating enough that I had to return them because I spent way too much time wiggling cables and trying to get the headphones to just work, let alone sound good. Although this would be a problem for any headphones, paying this much for headphones for these problems was completely unacceptable.I might give Mee Audio another chance with some headphones at some point because I really wanted to like them and maybe I just received a defective pair; however, at this point I am very hesitant given my experience.
