This lip filler pencil is pretty awesome. First, I LOVE elf as their stuff is all Vegan – AND highly economical too. This lip pencil is shaped like a triangle at the tip (hence the “love triangle”) – that is how it remains as you click it as you go too. A little goes a LONG way – as I barely used any at all and was able to line my lips and gently fill. This particular color looks lovely. Almost natural but gives your lips nice definition. I like a more natural looking lip.I actually apply my make-up and then brush my teeth right before leaving the house in the AM. Usually, I apply my lip products after that – but this morning, in my eagerness to try it – applied it prior to brushing my teeth. Not a problem as it stayed put through brushing! Like WOW! It wore just fine under my mask on public transportation and looked fresh when I got to the office as well. It also did not dry my lips out. Not that they felt moisturized all those hours later – but they did not feel dry. After a full day of eating drinking, and applying lip balm at work, I still had a slight bit of color left on my lips – although most had worn off by then. Still pleasantly surprised at how little product I had to use, how well it lasted, and how good it looked. It has more brown than purple color in the base. The liner is super smooth and can be used for overlining and filling in your lips for a long-lasting look. Be sure to exfoliate your lips if you are using this as lipstick since it picks up any dry patches. It wears much longer than regular lipstick.The triangle design of the pencil makes it easy to get a precise application when lining. It is very natural looking as a liner and helps with feathering from lipstick. I don't think you can find a better liner at the price. It is in a plastic tube with a twist-up design and a sealing plastic cap to keep it fresh and clean. I didn't see an expiration date but it should be used within 6 months of opening. This lip product is lovely, goes creamy, stays put, and looks terrific with a light frost and a gloss over the top or filled in. This pencil is a way to make your lips pout pretty or that they enhance your natural shape. Lip pencils that are retractible are valuable to me. I'm not too fond of the waste and the trouble put into regular pencil maintenance. I am looking forward to seeing how a brown will look. That is my new preference for lip color now that I am embracing my base brunette roots underneath the caramel blonde highlights. Color is so important to me as I get older and realize why I am drawn to art, makeup, hair, and clothing. It gets me feeling happy.This formula has staying power and doesn't take effort to apply perfectly. I recommend removing it with oil or a regular makeup remover or cleanser. I will try the others.This lip color pencil is a product I pay this price for quickly. I have expensive products that are nice but wipe off too quickly. You never know until you try it. Makeup like this is so much less of a risk than other items. You can mix and match so a perfect color can stem from an imperfect one combined with another.I enjoy the lighter frosts and pearls with this darker or deeper pink that is subtle.Enjoy!

Elf is a line that I use so was interested in trying this all in one lip liner/ lipstick. I like the angled tip as its easy to get a precise line and although it felt dry going on turns out it isn't drying to your lips. It has a matte finish which did last almost all day. On my 2nd use I added just a little gloss on top as I'm not fond of matte lipsticks; however adding the gloss killed its staying power and it only lasted an hour. Expecting the Soft Pink to be a light to medium true pink I was disappointed to find that its a brownish pink which didn't pair well with my fair skin.
