I've been using Nordic brand Omega supplements for years because they have been consistently rated as the purest content, and therefore high quality, for fish oil. I take them at night with really cold water because I don't like the taste of fish oil coming back up, and I've found that works well to prevent that issue. Even though these are lemon flavored, which does help with that taste issue if it happens, I detest fish, so I'm sensitive to even the slightest taste or smell of fish. The size of the capsule is a little bit large, so I've had them kind of stick sometimes when I've tossed a palm-full of supplements in my mouth at the same time, but they swallow pretty easily most of the time and I've never had an issue if I take it by itself. DO NOT TAKE ON AN EMPTY STOMACH! You can research this elsewhere that it is common for fish oil from any supplement to cause nausea and stomach cramps if there is no food in your stomach and that fish oil is best absorbed with food. I don't take it with a meal specifically, but it's usually within 2-3 hours after eating, and I've not had any stomach issues in that time frame. I've had extreme cramps and nausea when I've taken it first thing the morning without breakfast and even when I've taken it with just a latte thinking the milk and flavored syrup calories would be enough - you need solid food like a slice of bread or more to absorb the oil and prevent stomach upset. Nordic brand is pricey, but I think the purity makes it more worth it.

Year after year, I take this. I guess it has been about 12 and the astonishment in my doctor's eyes as she goes over my vitals in regards to what these vitamin and mineral does is very rewarding. Good to get an A++ in something. Highly recommend This. Be careful there are several combinations by Nordic. This one works best for me.

I did a few hours of research on the best Omega-3 supplement based on recommendations from others who were also facing the same health issues I am. I wanted one that had a high percentage of EPA & DHA in comparison to the total fish oil content. Cheaper/lower quality supplements will use fillers that aren't as healthy. I like Nordic Naturals because it's 3rd party tested even though it's a bit pricey. One thing to note: make sure you are buying right from the company, Nordic Naturals, not a 3rd party seller. They try hard to hide this information. The last bottle I bought was from a 3rd party seller and was leaky. The caps at the bottom were covered in the fishy smelling oil. Since I take it in the morning, it's hard to swallow when it smells/tastes like fish. Nordic Naturals is very responsive to complaints, though, and they sent me a replacement bottle free of charge. 5 stars for the company. 1 star removed because Amazon allows 3rd party sellers, who can't guarantee a quality product. This omega3 taste good and it does not leave and aftertaste, I have a an elevated bad cholesterol and my good cholesterol was low too and very low vitD I needed to take the weekly vit D high dose but I did not took it and took this vitamins instead since this come 2 in one I give it a try, I took this for about 2 months and at my last blood test my cholesterols are all on good levels, my vit D is on 23 still a little low but now I just need a maintenance dose instead of the weekly vitD pills. So I plan on continue taking this and will see how the test results look in another 3 months.
