Perfect and very reasonably priced

Have only used this for a week, but so far I'm impressed. I can't comment on the battery life but it seems to run a long time, and is easy to recharge. Haven't run the battery fully down. For the record, I purchased this item. It paired with my MacBook Pro quickly. The MacOS couldn't identify the keypad, and asked for a few keys to be pressed. That didn't register with the computer so it gave me the option of just saying "ANSI keyboard", which I selected, and all was well. I turn the unit off when not in use, but if you don't use it for a bit, it goes to sleep. I haven't had any issues with the computer recognizing it when I turn it on or wake it up. Using the program "PCalc" on the laptop makes for effortless numerical input and speeds up data entry. All in all I have had good luck with Macally products, and this one is no exception. If I later find issues I will amend this review; but as of now, at this price-point it is an excellent product, with a brand name I've come to trust, well made and not cheap "junk" like some of the cheapies. Those who posted negative reviews may have gotten bad keypads but mine is not one of them!

Pairs easily. It's a little flaky on reconnecting. Especially when switching between my work laptop and home laptop. But it works great, and it's so handy to have the x-keys and keypad. I certainly like the keys on this better, more like the earlier 2015 macbooks with more raised keys. Better to type on. I certainly like the arrow keys over the 2017 and 2020 macbooks. Especially the 2017. Horrible design on those arrow keys on that model of macbook. Not really sure what else can be said. It works fine. List off Cons? Sure, why not... No battery indicator at all. None. Not even in the GUI in bluetooth prefs. Honestly that's a silly design. I guess when it stops working I know to charge it, huh? The buttons aren't really quite where you expect them to be and they crammed more in. It can throw you if you're used to a standard numpad. I'm old. The writing is insane small. I have to hold it and squint and try to use my bifocals just right in enough light to hit it just write to see whether it is on or off. And as a famous idiot-savant once said, "That's all I have to say about that."

I love it

I just bought a laptop and stupid me i wasnt thinking about if it had a numpad because i seen 32GB ram for a great price, so i got it and i was kinda bummed about the no numpad thing, so I picked this numbpad out of 3 others and it was because this one didnt have keys that didnt make sense, one with no num lock button another with TWO BT keys and another one with a calculator built in, i know it would hit that calculator button and be mad that i hit it when i didnt mean too. This one was exactly what should be on a numpad plus 4 extra keys on the top right that are just perfect: esc, tab, = and backspace, i was typing some numbers and i was like darn i typed the wrong number i wish there was a backspace on this numpad...OH THERE IS! AWESOME. I'm currently in a calculus class and this thing is prefect for it considering im doing numbers with 12 decimal places and being able to move it around next to my notedpad is just awesome! Highly recommend if you need one!

The first one I received had one defective key..the "paste" key was stuck. I returned for a replacement. The second was ok, some mushy keys, but I decided to keep it. The keypad easily connects to my MacBook Pro via bluetooth and it seems to be working fine. The battery lasts for months without need for charge, but there is no way to see what the battery charge actually is, a major downside in my opinion. Apple bluetooth devices show charge status, why can't this device do the same? The aluminum top casing of the keypad is nice. But the keys are terrible. They feel mushy and cheap, and definitely do not feel as solid as keys on my MacBook Pro or Magic Keyboard. The keys need to be depressed at the Centerpoint. If you do not hit the keys at the right spot, your digits will not be registered. Simply put, this keypad is a cheap piece of junk. I'm already thinking about throwing it away to try another.

Really like this product. I'm a software engineer and i'm on my computer 12+ hours a day. I bought a split keyboard but didn't have a 10 key. This little guy is a lifesaver. It's lightweight, compact, easy to carry in my backpack, very quiet, and the keys are of exceptional quality. Excellent for the mobile worker. Also, it synched right up via bluetooth to my computer so no installation headaches at all. Definitely recommend!

Macally says right in their store, "...our team has specialized in Mac-focused peripherals for over 30 years." Well I haven't seen a Mac that did not light up in almost 30 years. Why make a keyboard that looks so much like "Space Grey" and it doesn't light up? Fail. I will keep it for when I have a lot of lights on, but it isn't so practical without lights. They got the color right, just forgot to light it.

Buen producto

Vivo en México y tenía mis dudas sobre su funcionamiento, sin embargo, funciona muy bien con Windows, lo compré por los atajos y funcionan a la perfección, las teclas no son de mala calidad, pero tampoco son excelentes como las de una mac o una lap de más de veinte mil pesos, cumplen bastante bien. En cuanto a la tecla de punto, también funciona correctamente y no lo cambia por la coma como otros teclados. Es 100% Bluetooth y no tuve ningún problema para emparejarlo con mi matebook d14, además de que carga bastante rápido.

La calidad definitivamente no es la de un producto apple pero funciona bien, yo no tengo el problema que otros indican en las reseñas sobre el punto apareciendo como coma, pero no logro usar el Ctrl+> para desplazarme hasta el final. En general satisfecho por lo que recibí, el precio es el adecuado.

Se conecta a la primera, funciona muy bien y se siente de maravilla. Además luce muy bien.

Excelente, no tuve el problema de la coma en igual del punto. El articulo lo compré porque tiene los botones que mas uso en una computadora, al contrario de otros teclados numéricos que hay en Amazon. en dos semanas de uso va bien.
