Q: I just received my towels and am soaking them. The recommendation is to let them drip dry. Can I wring them out after the soak?

I think I just let them drip dry in my shower after I soaked them. I don't recall wringing them out first. Since then, I have washed them in the washing machine according to the directions & then I hang them to dry. They are nice towels.

Hello, thanks for the question. Black hand towels have just black & beige color on the other hand Vintage Black Hand Towels have black threads bended with dark gray threads & beige color.

Q: After initial soak process, do these hold up well for practical use and time in the washer/dryer? Or are they meant for decoration & occasional wash?

They do hold up in the wash. As good as they look on line, they are one of the worst buys I have made on Amazon. They are a thin material not suitable as a face towel or dishtowel and the ones I bought the tassles do not match and the print is only on one side. I would not recommend the purchase.
