Perfect for entry level
FOR THOSE WHO ARENT AUDIOPHILES OR EXPERTS -- READ THISThis headset is one of the best entry level gaming headsets i've purchased. They are made sturdy, adjustable, and without error. For those who are deciding between this headset and other prevalent devices, choose this one. Don't pay mind to nitpicky reviews unless you are sure you understand the humongous words and technical terms they use.Pros:- Made with metal, memory foam, and high quality materials- Bass drivers are at the perfect level of medium- Very loud, you won't need to max your volume manager out in order to hear- The microphone is the best headset microphone in my opinion, no pop filter necessary, clear and non-suppressed, as well as compatible with voice mod or third party software- The mute functions are spectacular, the software it comes with allows you to chose a mute key as well as the push up mic and mute button- Mic is perfect for mumblers, whisperers, and anyone who is shyCons:- The highs are sharp, which causes audio to peak high- The mic is very firm and almost unable to be posed- The mic is surround based, meaning it tends to pick up outside noise—however you can use noise cancelling features from third party software and built in functions like Discord has- The headset is tight but has adjustable features like the headband- The earmuffs do not extend downwards or upwards but you can adjust the headband to elude to the same featureHappy purchasing!

Very Happy (Thankfully)...
I bought these to replace my Corsair Void Pro headset that have had the 'quiet mic' issue for a while now.I was hesitant to get another Corsair headset due to the mic issues, but it seems like it's 50/50 on that no matter which brand you go with, so I pulled the trigger.First off, the whole reason I caved and got a new headset in the first place, is because my work headset completely died. I switched to the Voids as a backup, and realised that people were barely able to hear me (I work as an IT support specialst... so...that's not great). After I received these I immediately swapped them out and was very pleasantly surprised. The mic actually works the way it's supposed to. Initially testing with voice recorder played back nice, clean sound. After taking a few calls, I've noticed that I can speak casually again (no more borderline yelling at customers). One thing I will note about the mic, is that it does not have any sort of noise dampening. Not a problem for me, but if you have a slightly noisier home office, these might not work for you.Speaking of WFH, we use Cisco Jabber with Finesse to route calls. I was able to plug-and-play with no issues and no need to install I-Cue.Comfort-wise, these are actually more comfortable than the old pair. The band kind of threw me off, but after adjusting it, it fit perfectly (I have a big head AND wear glasses). Can barely tell I'm wearing them after about 5 minutes. The only gripes I have - I wish they had an in-line controller for the volume and mute (on ear is fine, and mic flip works well enough). I also noticed that the sound is not as punchy as the Voids, but then again, I haven't tested with ICue yet, so the custom EQs may change that.Overall, very happy with the headset, and even more excited that they worked out of the box with my work software.

Closest thing I've found to the Void Pro RGB USB. Great headset, a little small.
After having the Corsair Void Pro RGB USB's for 6 years, and being the best headset I have ever tried, they are ready to fall apart and are starting to die. For a while now, I have been trying to find a suitable replacement. I tried the Void Elites, which I thought were the same ones, and the audio quality was terrible. HyperX Clouds were good, but still not as good as the Void Pros, and no EQ. Finally, these do the trick. The pre-sets in IQUE sound terrible in comparison to the Void Pro, but after a custom EQ, the audio sounds even better. These, in comparison, have a richer, deep booming bass when you want it, but other sounds also come through clear and detailed. They are a bit small on my head, as they just barely fit to cover the bottoms of my ears with the headband pulled as far as it will go. The earcups are very comfortable, though not the best when it comes to blocking outside noise. The headset looks nice, the flip to mute mic is nice to have, and the programmable button on the back is a cool feature. 8.5/10 overall, just make it for bigger heads, and maybe a better headband cushion.

Incredible, especially for the price
These are perfect for what I was looking for. I specifically wanted the wired ones for mic quality, and they delivered well. The sound is good, slightly bassy, but not nearly as much as the Skullcandys I had before. They don't block out a lot of noise but also have no noise bleed when on. Keep in mind that I don't listen to music super loud though. As far as comfort, I haven't had any ear pain when wearing them for several hours at a time. They immediately fit to your head when put on too, which is nice. I use these for gaming and recording voiceover, which it is perfect for in my opinion. The only issue I've found is that the link they provide for the software doesn't exist anymore. You can find it on the site, but it takes some digging, and changing the RGB doesn't work most of the time. I didn't care about the rgb when getting these, but if that's something that's enticing you, you may also have problems with it. I chose a blue light color, but it's red or white nearly every time I use them. That could be something I'm doing wrong, but I'm not sure.

Hot and heavy
Bought this to replace an ancient pair of Turtle beach headphones, and while they are good in some respects, I will be returning these.Pros:+ Sensitive mic: for people who want to sound like they are NPR broadcasters+ Good sound quality: I haven't gamed with them, but for chat and basic music, they were good.+ Ear pads are very comfortable. All the weight is taken by the strap, so good for people whose ears tends to bother them+ Flip to mute very convenient+ Ear pieces block out a lot of noise: muffles neighbor's kids shrieking outside quite wellCons:- Sensitive mic: picks up everything, including button clicking and birds chirping outside- Plush ear pads are like ear muffs, and they get hot very quickly- Both the mute button and the flip-to-mute cause audible noise. If you want to be able to mute yourself without your listeners knowing, these are not for you.- Very heavy, not enough padding on the strap. These start to hurt the top of my head after only 15 minutes, and I find myself regularly adjusting them to relieve the pressure.- Ear pieces block out a lot of noise: including your own voiceDeal-breaker: no side tone/mic monitoring. I've been using my old Turtle Beach headset so long, it never occurred to me that side tone is a rarity which blows my mind. Do you all just blather on, not aware of what's coming out of your mouth? Is everyone constantly shouting? I might have put up with the other complaints, but I can't stand not being able to hear myself. Tried a software fix, but it's way too laggy.

Mic quality is unreal
The most impressive aspect of this headset is the mic quality. Testing it in voice chats blew me and my friends away by how clear I sounded, one saying it was like I was in the same room. Genuinely impressive for a gaming headset, and comparing it to all other mic tests I’ve heard, this blows all of them out of the water. The audio quality is pretty good; only downside is that the EQ software presets aren’t great. But the fact that it’s available to tweak is still a nice feature. I personally love a lot of bass and I was able to adjust it to fit my preferences. The ear cups are also very soft and comfortable, and the flexibility of the headband makes the whole set fit so nice.Highly recommend this if you’re looking for some of the best mic quality out there for headsets. Very impressed.

Absolutely terrible quality.
The headset was great when I first got it. I enjoy the loud bass and the great mic that I'm sure Corsair got because Logitech has it on their g pro headsets and thank you it made it a lot easier than buying a boom mic. The comfort is there and it fits around my ears just fine with just the only issue being it not much room for my big head. But then we have the issues.Bought the headset in April. Then it's 5 months later and guess what. The corsair HS80 wired finally gives out as the ear pads just come apart and I find out that the glue they used to secure the cloth to the plastic has turned into a gooey mess. I am able to pinch my finger on the inside cloth covering the driver and pull the cloth out like it was a wet napkin. Then I pull off the ear cups and find that both of the ear cups are slowly turning that glue into a gooey mess as well. From what I can tell it has to do with sweat. The sweat just ate that glue up and turned it into what it is. I don't know if corsair thought that making the ear cups glued to the plastic but it is terrible.Tell you what Corsair. Screw you guys. I spent 85$ sure on a headset you guys advertised because you called it a "premium gaming headset" but instead we get a headset made in china by some company that doesn't care as long as this 25$ headset reaches my hands. If you read this through and just want a simple solution I would highly suggest you buy replacement earpads from Amazon as these will give out. And if the cloth you have around the driver comes out I soaked the plastic that formed around the fabric in isopropyl alcohol in a tupperware for like10 minutes and then used my finger nails to scrap off the glue and then I set it in the sun to dry out. Then just find some basic plastic to fabric glue and glue it all in such as loctite plastic to fabric glue. In total I spent 30$ for the new earpads, glue and isopropyl alcohol. And Corsair charges 20$ for shipping and assume it will take more than a week. Getting new pads by themselves in one day is less than 30$.

Great quality headset, great value
I like it a lot though it feels slightly short in the sense that people with long heads may have their ears slightly sticking out even with the head strap adjusted fully slack.

Do i need to buy anything else?
This is what i've been looking for. Good sound quality and mic is also crisp. Gaming with this on Valorant is just a cherry on top.
