Official Andymation's Flipbook Starter Kit, LED Light Pad, Flip Book Kit

I bought this for my 7 year old son. He loves it so much. It has really sparked his creativity. He is excited to show all his flip book creations to his friends. My only constructive criticism would be to include the correct paper orientation in the instructions for beginners. Thank you for a wonderful product!

The Andymation flipbook kit is the best on the market. Don't bother with the other one sold on this site. High quality lightbox is the only one that has pegs on it to align and hold the paper while you are drawing. The lights are warm yellow rather than bright white, so not only is it easier on the eyes, but it seems to illuminate better through the paper (I have the other one from this site, too, and I can't use it for this very reason). This product was created by an animator/illustrator. It works fantastically and is no doubt the result of his many years of creating flipbooks, dreaming about making the perfect tool for the rest of us to use. This is a perfect gift (my grandsons love it), great for your inner child (I love mine, too), and will take you back to the magic of the simple, fun animation possible with flip drawings. I don't know about you, but I spend a lot of time in my math classes illustrating in the corners of the text book, making small animations as I struggled to understand why algebra would ever be necessary in my life (except for squaring quilts I make, it hasn't been!). Trust me. Spend the extra few bucks and get the Andymation kit and Andymation paper. You won't be sorry. And if you get the other brand first, it's okay. You'll get the Andymation one later because you'll be terribly unhappy and it'll fuel your desire to make flipbooks. Go ahead. Get it. You know you want to. Life is short, so have a little bit of creative fun!

The light pad seems to be made well. The snap-to-size binding screws are a fun touch. Everything is packaged brightly and cleanly. You can tell that there is some care put into the kit so that kids will enjoy it. This doesn't feel like a cheap cash grab by a YouTuber (which we are all too familiar with.) Maybe you could buy these items individually a little bit cheaper from some nameless and soulless manufacturer but I'm happy to support Andymation. My son loves his videos. He does a great job teaching the art of animation while also bringing a positive message and vibe to his viewers which is so much more than most do on that platform.

My kid was into a phase where she was REALLY into learning about flipbooks after watching Andymation videos. He really does make it seem fun and somewhat easy. This is a really cool setup. Everything does exactly what it should. The holes help hold the paper in place, which is important for continuity and animating your idea properly. The backlight has plenty of brightness to glow through the paper. It's an excellent kit, and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to give flipbook animation a try.

Nice one I love how the papers look and it turns out, correct (: this flpbook kit is better than any other and by the way, this is the kit that my mom bought look me

Purchased as a gift for my son. He was very excited

Es el regalo más lindo que se le puede hacer a tus hijos. Todo el kit fue tan cuidadosamente preparado y funciona a la perfección. Somos tus fans Andy

Everything in the box shows it was designed with attention and care. Good quality materials and extra nice touches may not matter to everyone but it sure does to me. Here are a few things I noticed while unboxing this Flipbook Kit. The tracing pad is well made, sturdy, and even has rubber pads on the back to help prevent slipping. The light on the tracing pad is even, adjustable, bright enough, and has a warm hue to be easy on the eyes. The USB cable is nice and long (60in/152cm), isn't stiff, and has the look and feel of good quality. Provided paper has perfect weight and tooth for flipbooks with precise holes that match alignment pegs on the tracing pad. The instruction book is nicely printed with clear instructions and information on how to get started with flipbook animation and where to find more information. The printed box the kit comes in is a nice place to store everything for the next time you want to work on your flipbook animation.

I love making my favourite thing and I also love the tutorial for the walking, running and skipping person and the bouncing ball tutorial

Great ideas to enhance kids creativity.

Me encanta el producto. Algo muy divertido para los niños y papás. Mi niño de 7 años pasaba horas dibujando sus carucaturas. Estamos muy contentos

Great kit, comes with everything you need to start making flipbooks. My son is 12 and he loves doing this.

A mí hijo le encanta andymation y este kit viene con todo lo que necesitas para iniciarte en el mundo de los flipbooks, lo mejor de todo es que hay remplazo para todo por separado para cuando se terminen los materiales. Lo volvería a comprar.
