Bought this rugged-looking braided-nylon covered 5A 6' USB Type-C to Type-C cable from CableCreation as a replacement for the slender, plastic-sheathed power cable that came with my new 15" MacBook Pro. (The plastic on Apple power cables is notorious for splitting where the cable flexes, so I wanted something tougher.) My CableCreation cable arrived promptly for a fair price, looked great & worked perfectly for about 4-1/2 months before suddenly quitting. Worked one day; the next day, no power. Very puzzling, as the cable had been very gently used. I suspected a manufacturing defect and emailed CableCreation to report the problem. CableCreation immediately replaced the first cable free-of-charge. I was up and running again within a few days. The replacement cable is functioning smoothly without a hitch, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I'm very satisfied with CableCreation's swift and courteous customer service. If all continues to go well with my replacement cable, I will not hesitate to order again from CableCreation.

Worked for ~45 days to charge my phone, but now my phone won't even recognize the cord being plugged in. Which is a shame, because the cable itself feels like it's really good quality. The braids are thick but still flexible, and I was able to quickcharge my Note 10+ with it.

I hav been a customer for years now. I purchased the 6 foot cable in space grey. It has great durability as always. It's charging is it okay it dose not fast charge my LGV40 I used my original charge cable and indeed fast charges my phone I u.have used several different wall chargers that are quick/fast charge as well as PD chargers with the same results that the cable creation cable dose not fast charge but I am happy it dose not slow charge my cell. Who knows I might have just gotten a lemon.

The cable itself works as advertises -- it can be used to charge a USB C device like a MacBook Pro or iPad Pro as well as transfer data. No problems there. But the plastic housing around USB C tip is thick. If your device is in a case that covers everything but ports, cameras, and microphone this cable may not be compatible because of this extra thickness. I have such a case on my iPad Pro and the cable can randomly pop out because it can't get flush with the port to snap in securely.The other problem I have with this cable is that it is stiffer than your average Apple supplied cable and inflexible. This can make placement annoying as it guide it to a particular area an it just moves back in to where it wants to be. More flexible cables will stay where you put them.That said this was the lowest priced one of it's type (5A charge and sync) so I can't bark too loudly. I got what I paid for and it does work, just not perfectly. I could have paid more for perfect and I chose not too and now that I have used the cable first hand I will keep it rather than spend more. The issues I note were not catastrophic to me, but did want to make light of them as they could be for others.
