Great, fixed my one LED spotlight failing as they were formally halogen lights. I needed a LED transformer to remediate.

I needed a replacement 12v transformer for my LED strip lights but I couldn't find an identical one for my JS25-1202500. Instead I searched for a rewireable unit which I could cut and splice my existing light fitting connections into and I came across this one on Amazon that had the same 12v 30w rating. I was unsure at first whether a transformer and LED driver were the same thing, but a quick internet search assured me both were the same, just given different names. This unit is a similar size to the original unit and as it sits on top of the kitchen cupboards it is hidden from view. It was a simple procedure to wire in my existing connections and the transformer is clearly labelled with the input 240v and 12v output to avoid any confusion. Beneath each of the green terminal covers are 2 connections, again clearly labelled live and neutral so even someone with little to no electrical knowledge or skills should be able to replace their faulty transformer. Just remember to turn off the mains power the particular power circuit is on first, if in doubt consult or get a professional or qualified electrician. I managed to replace this transformer in far less time than I spent looking for a like for like replacement and at under £10 saved me a fortune in either replacing the complete LED light strips or getting an electrician out to fix the problem.

Nice compact device I used to power a garage door alarm. However, the input and output cable entries are too small, particularly the 240 v input port which does not easily accept a normal 2 core mains input cable and the clamp cannot be completely closed because the cable diameter is too large. Overall a nice device that can be easily concealed.

A perfect replacement LED driver for refrigeration display LED lighting systems, these transformers are available in several different output wattages so you should be able to match the wattage of your faulty driver, have not had any issues with them and some have been in service for a while.

It works OK, but the implementation is pretty poor. I'm a Chartered Engineer and have gone through the process of getting consumer products CE certified. Although the product is CE marked with ETL Intertek stamp, nowhere on the product, carton, or instructions, does it specify which EN standard it complies with. The input and output screw terminals are too small, and far too close to the moulded bars intended for strain relief. If they were set back another 15mm, there would be enough space to strip back the outer insulation and allow the inner cores to fan out to line up with the terminals. Fitting a bootlace ferrule to the input/output cables is impractical due to the limited space. Definitely not good practice. It's as though the plastic case was an after-thought.

The LED driver was as described. It wasn’t the easiest to wire in as the primary wiring connections are very small. Once wired it was absolutely fine.

Very compact, works well with two 4W LEDs, terminals very small, fiddly to get stranded wire in, terminal screws very small.

Installé en lieu et place d'un transformateur pour lampes halogènes, après avoir remplacé les ampoules par des led. J'ai pris du 30w pour alimenter 4 ampoules 5w ( normalement il aurait fallu du 22w : 20w d'ampoules +marge de 10% mais au moins j'ai plus de marge). Je recommande.
