Missing parts a month to get them from mfg
It’s really not drill free because the way it’s designed on a lower unit. It pulls the threads out of the trim tabs. Scagg a different bolt had to be used other than the OEM. I had to use 5. Other bolts had to be placed in a sealed to give this support. I understand why if you just use the two screws provided they close to leaving a judge how it would come off, rip your Scagg off and then damage your props. Saw a lot of extra work to make it right at solid. I got three hours worth it worked, and it worked well, but was not as advertised what I’ve never ordered if I knew what I was gonna go through including a tube of 3m 5200 fast cure five additional bolts to anchor it, and new Scagg boldt 7/16 x 1 inch for the trim tab.My wife laughed. She goes yeah that was the longest five minute job I’ve ever seen. Thank God you talk to me I’m not doing it at the water launch. Did I mention four trips to the hardware store to keep getting stuff to make this thing work

SHOULD HAVE BOLTED IT ON ANYWAY.
THE FIRST ONE WORKED WELL FOR ABOUT A COUPLE OF HOURS UNTIL IT FELL OFF AND IS THE BOTTOM OF LAKE ERIE SOMEWHERE. THE SECOND ONE NEVER MADE IT OUT OF THE MARINA WHEN THE OPERATOR OF THE DRYSTACK GARAGE BROKE IT OFF. THE THIRD ONE HAS MORE STAINLESS HARDWARE HOLDING IT ON THEN IS NECESSARY, BUT AFTER PUTTING 3 OF THEM ON MY NEW BOAT, I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT I DO NOT LOSE OR HAVE IT BREAK OFF AGAIN. THE STABILIZER DOES WORK WELL, JUST DISAPPOINTED I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTION THAT VERY FEW TOOLS ARE NEEDED.

Great Addition For A Pontoon Boat
I have a 29 foot pontoon powered by a Yamaha 115 4 stroke. The prop would consistently "cavitate" every time I turned the boat quickly while pulling a tube, slowing the boat tremendously. This hydrofoil eliminated this cavitation allowing me to turn the boat sharper to get the kids outside the wake. The only downside is that it states that it will increase speed, which, in my case, it doesn't. Also, be sure to put a couple of bolts when connecting to be sure it doesn't fall off while under way. I recommend it!

The very first time in the water with this Hydrofoil Stabilizer half of the decal came off! But, functionally, it works great.

This item works like a charm, my boat gets on plane now better than I could have ever imagined, I highly recommend this item for boater's having hole shot issues.
