This Robo Rocks!
Oswald has been a great little cleaning companion and does phenominal at detecting differenct floor types, and keeping the floor clean throughout the day when im at work or just out and about. It is noisy otherwise, but the app has been plenty helpful and is intuitive for any Roborock device.

My first Robot Vaccum and I don’t regret my purchase
When I first decided to buy a robot vacuum I was thinking about going with Roomba since it’s always on sale. Instead of purchasing that, I decided to research all brands of robot vacuums before purchasing. After I researched, I decided that this particular model would serve my flooring needs better. If you are in the market for a robot vaccum, I would definitely recommend this model if you only have hardwood floors in your house with no more than 2 rugs (Don’t buy this if your house is primarily carpet because there are other Roborock models or brands that are best for carpet). Always research models that would be best for your home and lifestyle before making an expensive purchase like this. Also I saw complaints about how this doesn’t work for rugs and if you look on the bottom of the robot it says you need to remove the mop pad if you are going over a rug. I don’t remove it when going over rugs because I have a rug under my dining room table and the vacuum goes over it just fine. There’s also a shag rug in my daughters’ room and I was shocked that the robot was able to go over it. I thought the cliff sensor would have gone off but it surprised me. Also there’s another option in the settings where you can specify a “no go” zone so as not to go over your rug.The YouTube review that I watched before buying this particular robot was very accurate in saying it was designed for hardwood floors because the water tank is really big compared to the more expensive $1600 and $1300 models that clean themselves. The dust compartment is small but that’s ok because I don’t have pets and my girls don’t really eat that much but will leave a mess here and there. My only wish (I don’t know if Roborock has done this yet) is that they can provide a dock for this specific model that has a water refill tank, self clean and dust collector). I haven’t seen one on the market yet but if I can keep my current robot vacuum and upgrade to a dock that will have all of that and work with it, I will buy it.As for cleaning my floors, this robot does a really good job. Prior to me buying this vacuum, I was too busy working to survive to even keep my house clean. This does a really good job at doing that for a family of 4 with no pets. It also does a good job of keeping our kitchen tidy because I was getting tired of my baby eating leftover cheerios that I couldn’t catch in time off the floor. As for children, I like that there’s a “child lock” option so that my toddler and baby don’t mess with the robot. My kids are always messing with it.It’s been a year since I’ve had this robot and I didn’t want to write a review so early because I was expecting to be disappointed. I am not disappointed and it’s one of the best first robot purchases I have ever made.

Good for a few months then terrible
I've got 2 dogs. One is 90 lbs and full of energy. I have a dog door and live in the country so hes got free range of several acres, parts of which are muddy. So, LOTS of mud after a rain comes into the house. At the time of this review, ive had a week of straight rain and a week of mud build up in the home. All my floors are hardwood so I cant speak to vacuum capabilities. Things thing mapped my house in 30 min (800 sw ft mapped, bedrooms arent a place I want this thing as the bedrooms are carpet so just kept the doors closed while it mapped the living room kitchen and dining room). The mapping was accurate as hell and effortless on my part. I gave it a test run while I worked the day it came in the mail. It swept labrador hair and dirt beautifully. After work, I wet the mop pad and put it on (ALWAYS wet the mop pad before it mops it does SO much better wet on the front end, found this out the second attempt). It did a pretty solid job, but I sent it for another pass after it finished. All in all, it got 1 week worth of heavy dog muddy paw prints up in two passes at about 90% out of 100% spotless. Pretty impressive. I pull the mop pad off after each cleaing session (it mops and sweeps at same time in the same pass, kinda wild but awesome as that conserves battery not having to run through the house twice). This is an early stage review, I hope it lasts a good few years. If it does, and continues to perform at this rate, Im a HUGE fan.EDIT: after a couple months it takes more effort each day to clean this thing out because it's lost its effectiveness then it takes to Simply sweep the floor myself. It constantly malfunctions, the vacuum and the docking station that sucks the debris out of the robot is no longer filling, it's become an absolute headache and this is actually now one of the most regretful purchases I've ever made. My fault honestly, I should have just stuck to a couple minutes of work each day sweeping. This thing can't hold up to two dogs and three kids after just a few months it's been beaten. I spoke with customer support, if you could call it that, they were absolutely no help whatsoever and we're going to make me jump through a million hoops before they would even consider letting me box up the robot and send it to them for repairs which they said I would get back and 6 to 8 weeks depending on the needed repairs. Absolutely ridiculous. Not trying to be Mr negativity or write a crazy rant but I highly recommend you spend your several hundred dollars elsewhere folks, it was not worth it at all in my opinion. Great at first but lost its luster very quickly.
