I started installing these after the tomatoes were already overgrown, so the supports aren’t nice neat cages. But they clip together in lots of arrangements so I was able to give the plants the support they need even if it looks haphazard. And they worked so well on tomatoes, I used the leftovers on the cucumbers, the bell peppers and some squash. Glad I can reuse them next year!

These are great! Customizable, which is the best part! I used the triangle formation on my tomato plants (in pots) and started with only 2 poles high. Then as the plants grew I could add more poles and cross sections, which is nice because you can place the cross beams (the horizontal ones) anywhere you want! So they can support the plant exactly where you need it. Easy to put together, very little force is needed, so I feel anyone would be able to use these. I have 3 potted plants and haven't used up all the pieces yet. Definitely worth it and better than any pre-fb cages!

These are very versatile and easy to assemble into various heights as needed. For my pepper plants, they work just fine. For tomato plants, they do a good job until the weight of your plants exceeds a certain limit and then the brackets snap off due to the pressure of the heavy vines. So, for some of my lighter weight tomatoes they are perfect, but for heavier varieties, e.g. Celebrities, or long growing indeterminate varieties, they are not strong enough.

I have several tomato plants - 3 of which are close to 6 feet tall - the others almost 5 feet tall. Every year I struggle to find the best tomato cages/supports for my gals (plants). I have the standard metal cages which never provide enough support or are tall enough as the gals grow. This product can be assembled in several ways and supports can be added as needed.

Well designed and work perfectly in a large outdoor pot. Much better than stakes or wire cages. Love that they are modular and you can easily build the support around a growing plant.

Purchased three sets last couple years, works amazing, easily adjustable, been using for tomato plants, can’t imagine anything else better to help support the plant as it grows in every which direction. Must have!

I wanted to believe in these tomato cages. I read the reviews and despite some of the negative comments, I went forward with my purchase. Surely I would have better results, right? Sadly, I did not. These cages are easy to assemble and offer pieces aplenty, but the fact is they just don’t hold up to the weight of a fully producing tomato plant. I even went deep with my first support, inserting it nearly all the way into the ground to combat wind/storms. I experimented this year with a cattle panel, the Florida-weave method and these cages. Once my tomatoes reached three feet in height, the supports would pop. I found myself adding additional side supports to a four-sided cage and it just wouldn’t hold. The other trellis methods are still standing. But I have lost too many tomatoes in these cages to leave anything more than 3 stars. I appreciate the idea. You can build multiple cages and even go wide with a single cage.

Kiddo made a school project of gardening. We were gifted some cucumber and tomato starts. These have been so handy to keep the starts off the ground. The fact it can be as short or tall as you need or different shapes for the space or plant is amazing. Super easy to put together and hook the plants to, my 6 year old did it herself. Can adjust or move it around and it will change however you like whenever you like based on your needs, super versatile. Love how it functions and fits the kiddos needs for her garden. She loves the way it looks with the different shapes for her plants.
