My fire pit is 25” tall. Is it ok if the cover is an inch shorter and does not cover to the ground?

Ours is also 25" tall. There are cinch pulls on 2 sides of the cover at the bottom. They can be pulled to cinch the bottom of the cover closer to the unit when it gets windy. We live along the south shore of Lake Ontario and get some pretty high winds coming out of the NE and we have not had any problems with the cover flying off as long as the cover is cinched . Hope this helps...we are very happy with the cover!

I have a 32 x 32 fire pit table. Should I get the 32x32 cover or just get the bigger 36x36?

Our fire pit table is 32 x 32 and the 32 x 32 cover fits perfectly. It cinches at the bottom and holds the cover on during a gusty wind.

My fire pit is only 14" tall. Can this cover be folded to the correct height, or would that not work? I can't find a shorter cover.

This covers my 30" fire pit that stands about 28" high and touched the ground. There are two vents and two drawstrings. You might be able to fold it over and stitch it. To be honest, this cover is very heavy and nice. I've had it for about 3-4 months with no rips or tears.

Are the measurements indicated true to size? If I order a 50in x 50in, is it actually 50 inch or bigger/smaller?

Tear after less than a year of use

Seemed to be decent quality but after less than one year of use, it’s already got a lastge tear at the top. We literally only used our fire pit 6 times last summer so the cover has been mostly just sitting on it without taking on/off very often. It was put away for the winter, we got it out for spring a couple weeks ago, had a few super windy days and now there is a big tear. Disappointing that it tore in such a short amount on time with very minimal use.

Great for my new Fire Pit

I bought this cover after extensive research for my new fire pit. For reference, I have a large square propane fire pit. Not only does this fit nice its thicker than ones i've purchased prior. Also, the price was fantastic in comparison, almost 50% cheaper! So far so good and I have a good feeling it'll hold up in the winter.

Durable cover, but color fades quickly.

Cover is water resistant and durable. It does a good job of protecting our fire pit from the elements. However, I've had it for less than a year (purchased in Aug 2020, writing this in May 2021), and the cover is extremely faded from the sun. I live in an area that doesn't get a lot of sun, so I was surprised about it fading so quickly. If you want a cover that does this job, this one gets it done, but it doesn't look as nice after a few months in the sun.
