My new best friend
My Accupuncturist used one on me and I couldn’t get enough. The price was so great so I bought this right away for home. My legs sometimes ache (recently learned it’s called lipedema) and I am often in this position with my feet up at the end of the day. Only now I get the incredible addition of the warmth and OMG!! It’s another level of self care!! I roll it around-easy to maneuver.) I decided not to add the tray. ) It was superSimple to put together. I use at at night whilst reading in bed and in the morning reading on the couch. Sometimes on my legs and other times stomach orNeck just because the warmth feels great. My sister ended up buying one right after me and said her hacking cough went away as soon as she turned it on.I don’t know exactly all the science behind this but I know it feels instantly good to me. I love the heat so much—and I live in Hawaii where it’s warm anyway. I’ve been into a good book today and I think I’ve used it 3 hours already

This healed my wounds and more!
I have stasis dermatitis on my legs that had big itchy blisters and open wounds all over my lower legs and feet. For four months nothing was helping. My doc recommended trying red-light therapy. I purchased this lamp and started using it for 25 minutes a day on my legs. The wounds started healing that first day and were completely gone within 3 weeks! The legs feel healthier then a long long time, and the scars are less prominent then past episodes. Also I had auto-immune rashes in several uncomfortable places which cleared up within days of starting the light therapy in those areas. Crazy enough I started using it on my scalp because of PCOS hair loss, and I have baby hairs all along where I used it. The lamp itself seems very sturdy. I like how I can adjust the head to best reach the light wherever I need it. It does feel hot on the skin, but I have not been burned even at the higher settings. I use it as high as I can tolerate it, usually on the 6-8 settings.

Convenient and soothing
Right before I bought this I got a gym membership at a place that has an infrared booth. It's nice since it hits all of your body at once, but I only go to that gym to use the cardio machines when the sidewalks are too bad in the winter/during rainy spells. I heard that infrared works better when used consistently.I chose this option because it seemed like a good mid-range price, and I liked that it moved around on the wheels so I could easily move it from room to room. The flexible neck was a big sell for me vs the panels; much easier to hit the back without having to lie on a hip or having to set up rigging on the ceiling.I notice a nice "after warmth" when I use it, and as someone who uses heating pads a lot, I can definitely tell the difference. This one is also good because it has a timer. I'd probably keep sitting under it alllll day if it didn't automatically turn off, so it saves me from myself ;)I don't mind that I need to move the lamp to different body parts. It's a nice way to relax for 20-60 minutes, depending on how many parts I want to hit. If I use it on my face (with protective eyewear) I definitely feel it perks me up, and in the evening it relaxes me like a cup of chamomile tea for the skin.It was fairly easy to put together. My husband helped me at one point. The little wrench it comes with isn't very useful, but it's better than nothing if you have no tools. I like that there is an anti-scald cage around the light, just in case something happened. If you're like me and new to infrared, this so far hasn't seemed like a bad one to start with. I haven't had it for long so I cannot vouch for its longevity, but it seems to be good quality. For example I was worried the neck might be flimsy, but it's sturdy and doesn't make the machine tip when it's in a flex possible. There are obviously more advanced infrared system out there, but it's been a good way to dip my toe in the water before spending $500+

Really helps with fatigued and slight pain in muscles.
Liked: Instant relief for muscle pain. It is easy to use, easy to maneuver the bulb to the desired position. The first unit we received didn't turn on, was very easy to exchange for a different model, which worked perfectly. Another benefit is this is a great way to warm muscles now that we are in the middle of winter.Improvements: The instructions could be a little clearer, in particular the white platform location, I wasn't sure where that should go. An easy fix to this would be to create a Youtube video showing someone putting it together, showing how to use it and providing a link to it in the instructions.Another possible improvement, if the head lamp itself was adjustable (in addition to the adjustable arm) it would also make it easier to move the lamp to specific muscles.
