First time I’ve used a humidifier. It’s great! Really good to have a big tank that lasts for 8hrs x 3 nights (on 40-50% setting). Bought this when I had a nasty head cold and blocked nose that forced me to ‘mouth breathe’. I kept waking in the middle of the night with my throat on fire - so dry and painful. This humidifer worked brilliantly to moisten the air in my bedroom at night. I have it beside my bed with the mister-nozzle angled away. Although I’ve recovered from the cold I’m still using this at night - my houseplants have never been healthier and I swear it’s rejuvenating my skin, too. Bonus! It came ready to use straight out of the box with zero assembly required. The large water tank is great - I fill it every 3 days and it runs all night on about 40% setting, for 8 hrs a night. It makes a very gentle low burrrrrrr sound that I find very calming and helps me sleep. Definitely a good purchase and already recommended to my parents.

I've had this laying around for some time now as I just found it really difficult to get round to setting it up mentally. But today I have eventually gotten round to using it, I ordered distilled water a few days ago, and I have not too long ago just set it up after cleaning the device. It is a really easy and simple to use device, of course as with any product I'd recommend just reading the manual to actually understand exactly what you're meant to do with cleaning and such, but it is really easy to understand! I purchased this as I have been having sleep issues and general living issues, and after getting a air quality tracker, I found out my room had very low humidity. So this purchase has been made for my future health. And so far has made me feel a little better, and hoping it will keep doing so.

My first humidifier, this is amazing stuff. My skin and hair has suffered so badly with winter weather that I had to buy one and see what the fuss is about, and it makes such a difference given how central heating is so drying. No more static hair and shrivelled skin! This is so important because we spend so much time indoors during winter, only to be battered when we step outside to ruthless winds and cold air. This has been well worth the price. It's very easy to clean with vinegar, and I use regular tap water (though filtered first). It's easy to get the humidity really high with this machine so beware of household mould, and I've heard it's really important to clean it regularly because mouldy water puffed into the air can make you ill so you've been forewarned. I've used essential oils to the dose recommended but you'd need to use a lot of it, and have many humidifiers on the go to properly perfume your home. It's a nice feature but not one I'm bothered about. Very nice to have this on whilst sleeping to create a balmy misty jungle like environment. Winter can be dry and whiplash cold, but with this inside, it needn't be so ruthless.

This does work, but is very difficult to clean green fungus which accumulates Regli in the base even with soaking, even with using small brushes and disinfectant the fungus has not completely disappeared.

Finally, I took the plunge and purchased this unit. I own other Levoit products (air purifier) and found their brand to be of good quality. This unit did not disappoint. What a fantastic size - gives off a directional controlled mist at your fingertips, lasts for at least three hours (on lowest setting) and most importantly, has almost resolved a chesty cough due to dryness in the home. I love it. When this unit is next on a deal, I'll be making another purchase. The one I have lives between the living room and the bedroom at night. The single best purchase of a humidifier you'll ever make.

Bought this to help me sleep when I was suffering with a post-nasal drip after a heavy cold. I was coughing literally all night and my throat was really sore. Noticed on an NHS website that a humidifier could help at night and was so desperate for sleep that I decided to try this. And it really does help! It is brilliant - very easy to set up, very quiet, and I immediately got a great night's sleep. I don't know why some reviews say you can't turn off the light - of course you can! - just press the light button on the front for light on/off. Highly recommended. Reasonably priced too.
